Original Creator: Tamiki Wakaki
Director: Shigehito Takayanagi
Animation Producer: Manglobe

Second season to the already concluded first season about a otaku who conqueres real 3-D(2-D) girls after a contract with a devil.

Terumi's opinions: MUST WATCH. I dont like manga drawings, but the anime is a must watch.

Guess my favorite chara? :P

Guess? min. requirement is that she must have big bewbs >.<

After a few months the world god only knows returns! yeah!

/me decides to watch it in the desktop for higher quality~

OMG

The first season, the art was just ok

But the second season, the art blew my expectation, and exactly to my liking: eroge art ♥ ~ ♫ ♪

This is going to be epic~

@shito, not necessary though, if she triggers me favorite buttons

no guesses?

That poor kitty. I like how the show jumps right in. An almost flawless transition from the last season. The OP and ED have the same flavor as last time, and Kusunoki is a nice starting point. She has the tomboyish spunk and the love of cute things that make her endearing. Elsie is, of course, endearing just by being herself. A nice midway between Asuna and Ohana, as it were.

I'm going to enjoy a second round of this.

Very good episode from the beginning to the end of the episode was entertaining and with an excellent pace, on the technical side the animation and music are good only the fight look a little awkward but it can be forgiven since it is not the point of the anime. Kusunoki is pretty, hot and "hhhnghh!"

Elsie was so kawaii this ep. Thank her for Kusonoki wearing that dress. Fun moments of her were her trying to catch the spirit, her crying during the movie, and also her making the battle armor and using it. Seems like Keima learned from Kujo that goiing to the movies with girls is boring, at least he didn't fall asleep.

Hakua's introduction was nice, and a pretty cool way to bring up a new character.

^ finally someone got the right answer.
me favorite girls:

1. haqua
2. elsie
3. kanon

thats that

The demon girls are cuter than the story heroines. ( ̄Д ̄ )

The first arc was already good, but this is still clearly better!
Haqua is not only very moe, but also interesting. So she excelled at school but totally fails at actually capturing any loose souls. I really wonder how she got section chief then?

It was good to hear the background story about how Hell evolved from barbarism to a civilized society, and the loose souls are the old, evil spirits from the old Hell, who escaped. So they can become really dangerous if they aren't driven out in time, or if they're not captured after being driven out. I get the feeling that the story is really starting now.

I wasn't too surprised when Keima discovered she hadn't caught any loose souls so far, and had even let one escape. I had already guessed something along the line when she hesitated answering Elsie's question.

With Keima helping Haqua, I don't know if he's just trying to be kind, or if he just wants to get it over with as fast as possible so he can play more... perhaps a bit of both.

Agree, I couldn't find any word to say, the heroines (in terms of all girls in the story) is defintely better than S1, nice!

haqua + elsie = BEST~

EDIT 3rd May:

elsie too kawaii with her hair down. ^__^

yet, i still feel that highlight was haqua, since this was her arc. Propelled by high expectations as a genius girl who was flawless, she had to study a hella more than anyone else. Yet, she was unable to translate her academics success to real experience success which got her possessed. I felt this was quite clique, but yet, manglobe and saori hayami was perfect in tandem to bring haqua's true feelings.

on side note, keima was demoted to side-chara this week to better showcast and fan-service for our 2 bijin akuma shoujos!

Chibi art!

I would make Elsie mad just to see how cute she is when she starts pouting and throwing jealous fits. She really does deserve a little more love from Keima sometimes :P. I LAUGH OUT LOUD when Elsie ignores Keima and goes draw firetrucks, combined with chibi art just make her adorable. I won't mind Elsie with that hair style~

Well, this concludes the short Haqua arc. The fun about this arc is really seeing Elsie do the “capturing” this time instead of Keima and it’ll be a long time before she gets this spotlight again.

And can't resist

^ EP4, not 5...

Elsie in her non tie hair is cuteeeeee

Roach Keima is the best.

So the area outside Keima's room can become its own ecosystem. That's one stable house. Most houses wouldn't even allow termites, much less a greenhouse. A little bit more somber than some of the previous arcs, but having a character who's always been in the background become a focus (Keima was right on that one) move up to the front and tell her own story (something he wasn't right on) is nice, and it's good to have Ayumi back too. Rain seems to be a recurring motif here, for some reason. Curious to see where this goes.

It's fun to see Keima flustering and blushing and in male tsundere mode.

So much rain.

Pretty good episode. Ayumi is really cute, blushing Ayumi has to be one of the wonders of TWGOK. So some parts of the memory still lingers, I wonder how this means for the other characters.

Using the raiment as an invisibility cloak to deliver advice behind Chihiro's back is actually pretty clever. That thing's got a million and one uses. I like Ayumi playing a part in the events - makes the universe feel a little more complete. Elsie's right, there's still some lingering changes, even a whole season later. Keima's delusions with the charts and everything was interesting to watch as well. And man, is that rain persistent.

All I can say is I can see who gonna get kissed by Chihiro next episode now :p. oh shit, this series might get 5/5 from me nyaaa~

lol @ check's comment.
but it was great to see ayumi back, so cute~

well turns out, this arc is better than i thought it will be. keima's pretty reeling in shock with me too, after seeing how cute chihiro could get

Such a melancholic episode.

Chihiro's arc is the best among all of the arcs I've ever seen so far. It took Keima a while to conquer her, he even had to help her conquer a man she doesn't even like that much, but it still turned out okay in the end. There is no woman the Capturing God cannot conquer after all.

If the changes in the previous characters based on VN tropes (athlete, tsundere, silent type, martial artist) aren't impressive enough, changes in a normal girl is even more impressive as we can see those happen in real life. Well, you know, a girl who's not confident about herself can turn into a girl who can do anything she wants to.

Chihiro epitomizes the everyday experiences of any girl, or in fact any person, who tries to fit in and make their place in the real world. Because for anyone who is confident enough, it doesn't matter what place he/she will have in this world, for he/she can be anything after all.

Be it an athlete, a singer, a novelist, or an MMA fighter, it doesn't matter, because you can be anyone else asides these. All it requires is an open mind and a positive attitude in life.

Looking forward into the next arc, and I believe it's even more difficult for Keima to conquer the next target. But now Keima has been successful in conquering a "background character" girl, the most difficult one so far, so at least it could become a little bit easier.

Kami%20nomi%20zo%20Shiru%20Sekai%20II%20-%2007%20-%20Large%2005.jpg

What started out as one of the most uninteresting girls arc, actually turned in my favorite. In my books, this had gotta be the best episode in these 2 seasons, thats unless the later episodes can prove other-wise.

In contrast to Keima's initial mega-reluctance to 'attack' Chihiro, calling her someone too normal, no parameters, and a background character who should have no lines, this probably evoked the biggest stir in Keima's heart about the real world.

It took everything Keima had to offer, and to me, he ended up the one being conquered by Chihiro. He could not set flags, cant think of routes for her. This had just to go show that Chihiro is indeed something different from the other girls who he had previously conquered. The whole mood and rain in the episode helped a great lot, as it set the tone and feelings to be conveyed.

In my opinion, yes, Chihiro is the highlight girl of this series till now. Normal girl with no talents or any special parameters, she is just your regular girl who is living her life. While i cant admit that she is my type, i prefer my bishoujos, but her personality stands out more than the other girls. She gives up easily while trying things that she doesnt like, in truth, she justs wants to shine. Against such a girl, I have nothing but respect and love. Its not everyday, that such a normal girl who thinks for herself and other people exists.

Keima probably realises this too. With his 100% capture-rate still alive, now that he has 'leveled-up' with the capture of a background-chara, i want to see the next arc, that student-teacher is waiting~

Your ava face + that Elsie face = lol
