I'll answer both:
I normally learn about the VN from the anime, but i usually regret watching the anime since most VN adaptations are awful, and the VN is usually 100 better (Ex. Grisaia No Kaijutsu)
Harem of kitty Girls... If Neko Para has taught me anything... Harems are most welcome...
