• Reverted back to the old traffic counting method: Now display all visitors and members instead of just the last 1/5 to better reflect AS's real traffic.
  Please note that this number does not reflect the real traffic due to geo caching, similar the threads views. The real number of views and visitors is around 25-30% added to the current number you see.

• Jezebel, once in charge of the Otome Corner and Otome Games & Artbooks sections, has stepped down from moderator position due to personal reasons. It's been a short while, but we really value the time we had working together with her. We wish her the best on her future endeavours.

• Adjustments have been made to the background color of the ASF v2 light theme to optimize its brightness to match ASF v1.
  
  
• An increase in font size by 0.1 em across all classes has been implemented to enhance the readability of Japanese text.
  
  
• Noto Sans is now our primary typeface.
  
  
• The index page sidebar no longer displays screenshots to maintain a more 'work friendly' environment. Desktop users, however, can hover their mouse over the title to preview the content, including cover art.
  
  
• A new forum dedicated to Tutorials and Guides has been added. This forum is specifically for members interested in creating various guides. The forum structure will be of 'Articles' type, setting it apart from the layout of other forum categories.
  
  
• Several permission settings have been updated.

September 18, 2023:

• Experimental feature: We've set up and launched an Image Server for thumbnail and preview images. The Image Server is a specialized form of server designed to automatically resize and convert images in alignment with the client's rendering requirements and capability. Based on the available CPU budget, this feature might be suspended if we are unable to support the required CPU and RAM usage. Currently, we've dedicated 16 cores x 4Ghz / 64GB of RAM to the Image Server, though at our scale, this may be not enough.
  
  
• Search Results Update: Thumbnail images will be only displayed for threads in search results, with the size of these thumbnails set to correspond with the thread view.
  
  
• Preview Thumbnails will be lazyloaded.
  
  
• We have enhanced the Image Proxy timeout logic for better functioning and performance. Additionally, Image Proxy will now cache files up to 10MB. This may be reverted at any time.
  
  To clarify:
  
  Image Proxy is the system that fetches the image from a remote origin, stores a copy on the local server, and serves it.
  
  Image Server is the system that resizes and converts formats based on clients rendering requirements and decoding capability.

• Experimental Feature: We've made improvements to the Forum Statistics section and the What's New page, which now utilize a new horizontal slider for displaying new threads from the Downloads section. This enhancement allows for an increased number of threads to be displayed simultaneously. Please note that this feature depends significantly on the Image Server.

• Experimental Feature: We've introduced the Schedule Posting feature, exclusively available for Contributors. This allows Contributors to schedule threads and posts in advance.
  
  
• Responding to user feedback, we've organized sliders on the What's New page into distinct tabs, reducing clutter and streamlining navigation. Similarly, we've adjusted the Forum Quick Glance to feature sliders akin to those on the What's New page.
