Saga planets titles are a bit... too crappy for my taste but let's just say they are passable. I'm also playing some indie game, and some are very high quality.

To be honest I'm also not a big fan of Saga Planet, but still as a company its kind of big so thought I'd add it to the list as well.

For indie games, I'd be very glad to try a couple of them as long as they are vanilla, if you have any recommendations of course.

Hooksoft (and its sister brands) seems to be silent for nearly a month now...and Moonstone woke up outta nowhere to announce a new game under Cherry brand back in late September, with release date set in late December.

An unpredictable time indeed...

Well, if we don't count TON of nukige games that I always see each month on Getchu page...

There are still some brands appearing, but I noticed that such brands are usually "1-project-only". I don't quite understand why we need such a ton of sub-brands of sub-brands of sub-brands, like... AkabeiSoft2's newest sub-brand Archive with their new game, and staff is same as Aino+Links game... it's so confusing to me, why...

Also seems like Windmill is dead after their main artist left *sob*
They didn't even release 3rd part of Ichikano series.

Secret Love (tentative), Hooksoft's 25th title, for Summer.

Kanojo Step over at SMEE had a half-hearted attempt at keeping relationship secret before (ends up knowing either way after a short time. I'll give it some leniency given its small country town setting). Will this allow one to keep it secret all the way...? In any case, another dual scenario title it seems like.

That classroom though...why does it looks just like the one from Kanojo Step, or my foggy sleepy memory is playing tricks on me again...

Holy moly, StrawberryNauts getting yet ANOTHER HD Remaster, this time up to 1920x1080, and it's supposed to have even more CGs but no new scenario is to be added to remain wholly faithful to the original it seems.
If PriministAr Renewal is of any indication, I got a feeling it'll be remade in Buriko engine as well.
Already scheduled for 27 Sept. The merchandise even includes a Dandelion (Tanpopo) Ring.
Given how many releases it have had so far, it's truly HOOKsoft's Magnum Opus...that, or the two Motomiya Mitsuki art games are just very, very popular...

Ten months later and I'm still in no condition to read anything...I collect what few stuff I'm interested in and merely sit on them...

...and place is still deader than dead as always. Even if I do the shouting into the void routine, it might as well be spam.

Love must cease to be pure at some point, they never reached that point after a long time and require divine intervention (i.e. you) to work? Eroge logic working both ways...

I finished Mugen no Tir Na Nog (Azarashisoft 1+) last month, it was silly but atleast the entire adventure was decently logical. The scenario writer did his homework pretty well.

I'm playing the ensemble sweet's Noble Butler but it's a bit cringy. I don't think I'd continue, I'll see.

I didn't like the art style for Noble Butler, so I didn't even try. Is it really so bad? I wonder what happens there.

I remember I played a bit in Otoshita from ensemble sweet (Otome to Fureau, Hitotsu Yane no Shita), but I completed only common route, and didn't read further. There are also Shitaboku title, but I didn't touch it, the the synopsis did not leave behind the desire to start.

About main ensemble titles, I didn't play for so long, geez... ;(

For CUFFS VNs, I completed Sayou (Ninki Seiyuu no Tsukurikata) by Mint Cube 2 years ago. It was nice overall for me.
And I also completed Hibikino Eroge by Sonora same 2 years ago.
Then wanted to read Otome Domain by Palette Qualia, but something went wrong with my busy life, and 2024 year was empty for VNs except Reverse 1999 gacha. So, yeah...

I got a new 4TB External HDD so I re-backup some of my backups. As a check of integrity (my in-use SSD ate some games already so I can't be too alert) I thought I'd skim one of the VNs real quick. It was Parasol's Harenochi Kitto Nanohana Biyori, 10 years and a few months later according to the savedata dates, through the routesplit save I picked Amane, as if I needed closure on something, then skipped through most of it, stopping here and there.

It reaffirmed my thought that it was a mess, and turned out to be a much bigger mess than I thought it was seeing that I was straight up missing crucial details that I wasn't aware of until today...there's death, there's reincarnation, and descendants...

Not going back there again as I can't really handle the drama anymore...maybe never could have...
