Dex = dexterity. So fast weapons for multiple hits, and often for most critical strikes too.

Ahh so hits and crits...~ So light weapons and the such~ I wonder if shields have any use in this game? :/

If it is anything like Dark Souls, then shields are only useful for lazy play ;)

Otherwise they just slow you down (GCS ftw though, and bucklers are cool).

Hmm lazy players... =w= But theyre good for tanky players which dont really do much here since theres no health.... ehh mehs xD So unless they give some bonus to attack somehow... like perhaps block and counter... cant be used very well =w=

For me, a good tank is normally two handing a weapon and either trying to out-smack the enemy, or doing some basic evading. There are times when shield can be handy, but again it is normally when I am too lazy to dodge properly. :P

Lol well... if you dodge properly and have a shield then it can only help? xD Idk =w= I guess being slowed a bit does ruin the dodging..~

Outsmack the enemy... sounds like what they did in the second arc of SAO xD

Yeah basically where you both just stand there hitting each other until one of you dies. There are some bosses that are pretty fun to do that way!

Well shields add weight so they might slow down your roll/backstep/jump/whatever. If your enemy is close to your size, small shields are good for parrying. :)

Hmm... i wonder if two swords might work...~ But then you dont actually have to hold most shields so might just be better to have a two handed weapon with a shield~

In general dual wielding should almost always be a bad idea: your damage output is much less, and you have far less control and are far easier to parry, if your enemy is into parrying (basically they could stagger you easily). You could use it to try to keep something perpetually on the defensive, though, if they don't have time to attack between your attacks.

Dual wielding is to look cool, not to be practical/useful.

Lol xD Yeah... one hand can only hold a weapon of a certain weight and after that its more of a problem...~ Less control could be argued as they need more experience and practice though? Its just unusual for most people unless theyre ambidextrous~

The thing is, if you have to practice for such a long time just to get decent with two swords, how good do you think you would be if you practiced two-handing one sword for that time. One sword with two hands also means you can handle more reach (longer sword), which can be a pretty huge deal in close range combat.

If I saw similarly experienced fighters going for a dual, and one was single while the other was dual wielding, I would expect the single to win most of the time.

That is why I never did any serious browsing on my tablet :P

I suppose if you put it that way pertaining to the keyboard, I can understand. Not everyone needs a laptop for their convenience.

Every time I watch clips on YouTube about what gamers use for their system or how they edit and make their videos to post on YouTube... /me 's mouth waters

Well there are weapons besides swords which are designed for dual wielding... so i guess that sort of varies...~ Though dual wielding takes more practice even then =w= Just harder to use...~

I'm trying not to use my glasses too much. That's another reason I would use a laptop over a desktop since 'it's closer to me'.

Most of the desktops I see in the stores feels like they have been optimized for gamers though.

I am doing the abilities, but all depend what weapon you get and how long you use it.

Some people start off with abilities though
Like Renano for example, she can turn a profit by selling any used car.
Too bad there are no cars in SAO

Sin-kun, you're like a semi-god... maybe you can pull a few strings for maybe some method of training... OwO or not. At least I tried.

The more you use glasses... the worse your eyes become. My optometrist noticed my eyes improved a slight bit since I don't wear them as much unless I need them for driving and whatnot.

Hmm... if you read what the computers offer like what processor it uses, size/number of pixels of the monitor, etc. you can get a basic grasp of what a gamer may need. Most of them would rather build their own computer though.

We'll make a great guild! I'm not stopping people if they decide to go solo or want to join another guild~
