Still Gintama, which is still pretty great.
Been on a movie roll this week, very unusual. Watched Kumo no Mukou, Yakusoku no Basho. Always stunning visuals from Shinkai. Story was so-so, which is also pretty normal from him it seems. It had some interesting concepts though. Probably worth a watch, anyways.
Today I saw Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike, it was pretty good! Nothing too spectacular, but I like the kind of fantasy/adventure type stuff. Ending was pretty blah as it suddenly turns into a game trailer, but I saw that one coming. Plot isn't the best, as it is once again our favourite Tales story: our glow rocks has problem! Also thought it was especially hilarious that their stones named "blastia" have problems blowing up. Characters were pretty decent, but I keep getting a bit annoyed by the "I'm an airhead but I'm also a genius" trope, but they did a better job playing it this time than others (go die in a fire, Pascal).
Wouldn't give it big props or anything, but overall an enjoyable watch.
(also saw Django Unchained which was pretty good)
Other than that saw OVA's for Kamisama Hajimemashita, Mirai Nikki (redial), and Chuunibyou (x-mas one). Which were all okay but not great.
Probably wont watch much the next few days, but I'll start Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, and Senyuu's second season next week. :)
