Rewatching select episodes of Futari Wa Pretty Cure.

The first season of the Pretty Cure/PreCure franchise, it's an interesting mix of magical girl and slice of life, as Nagisa and Honoka cope with being teenage girls while fighting monsters to save the world.

Different from the other major magical girl franchise, Sailor Moon, but still quite interesting.

The major innovation, was to assemble completely different Pretty Cure teams each season, from season 3 onward (seasons named for the team.) This made each season self contained, so you could watch Suite PreCure, for example, without watching HeartCatch PreCure before it.

Sailor Moon, on the other hand, used the same core team for all 5 seasons, with other Sailor Senshi occasionally added.
