When I first played it
It took me 10hrs to pass the first boss.

[MENTION=40283]Yee199[/MENTION]; How much babysitting on the "getting lost" part is there? Isn't it a game where you can go wherever you want? Then it doesn't add to the "getting lost" part since you actually never are "lost"...
Since i know that it's a game with a difficulty level that makes you get 1 shotted by everything. It don't even deserve to be called a difficulty level.

In Dark souls every enemy doesnt 1 hit you :P
I think you were misinformed.
The thing you need to beat the game is Information and Skill.
Equipment doesnt play a big role in Dark souls.

Also i don't like games with traps in it. Mainly because it usually 1 shot you and appears randomly so it isn't good for my heart. So i can't play it as long as it has traps in it

Dark souls has a good amount of traps in it.
But its not like one is around every corner.
Low level guy owning a high level dude (guy falls off ledge)
High level guy does start using cheap tactics.

Well of course higher tier weapons and higher levels increase your damage.
But it is not needed to finish the game.
sl 1 playthrough of whole game.
They do some upgrading of the low tier weapons.
