"Metro:Last Light"
yet another game I have back-logged -,- there's just too much anime and too little time.
Give it a try ! you will not be disappointed ! the atmosphere is awesome....the first game ( Metro 2033 ) was good but Last light is way better...Graphics,sound,Gameplay ( you can go stealth which works great this time ) and the Story is great too, many plot twists and alternate endings....best thing is you can buy it dirt cheap in many Gamestop shops or online. The Metro Books are great too if you wanna go more into the story
How much would you recommend this game to a shooting newbie? I've heard quite a bit about it, but I was always a bit iffy about trying it because fps. The only shooting games that I've finished are third person shooters, The Last of Us, and the Mass Effect series.
Well the shooting/stealth balance is great here....you can avoid a lot of firefights if you act smart, shoot light sources f.e shoot at oil barrels to take out a group of enemies at once just to dissapear in the shadows right after like in splinter cell, you can modify your gear with optics, silencers etc,you have throwing knives and such so again you can avoid many firefights just sneaking through te levels...the AI is good but they don´t to try outflanking you or use group tactics like in many crytek games f.e so you can play it even if you´re not a fps pro ( im not good at these myself and hat a lot of fun here....) And buddy...i love Bioware,i love Mass Effect ! ( replayed ME 2 recently....) i think the firefights in ME were way harder than here ! so go,grab it and enjoy.two thumbs up.sorry for the long post....
Welp, there goes another game on the backlog... You know you're in hell when you have a long list of backlogged anime and games... Thanks for the explanation though. (´・ω・`)
Honestly though, the game that's probably gonna get the most of my attention once it's released is probably gonna be Tales of Zestiria. I didn't have a PS3, so this would be my first Tales game since Vesperia, but I've really enjoyed most of the Tales games I have managed to get my hands on.
I really should finish transplanting my Witcher 3 updates to my desktop someday (downloaded it somewhere else for the speed) so I can continue with Geralt.
Until then, HoTS continues.
