Atlus, huh? No wonder it seems awfully familiar.. like Persona

nothing too fascinating in the games I played for awhile, though I'm quite fond of GrimGrimoire's story (no movie, it's vn-style cutscene..)

Catherine was a pretty cool game.

I like the story for the Silent Hill games. (That's nothing new for me though.)

Last game story I liked the most was probably Silent Hill: Downpour or Corpse Party. I don`t remember which I played first and I can`t choose one over the other. If The Last of Us is what I`m expecting though, it`ll probably shoot to the top of my list pretty quick. Not counting on it though, Naughty Dog are great with characters but their stories always fall short.

Silent Hill Downpour was pretty good. (Even though it was considered the worst game by the Silent Hill fandom.)

Just like every other fandom they`re just butt-hurt because the games haven`t stayed exactly the same over the years. And just like every other fandom, they say only the most recent one is the worst and say the one that came out last (which was previously the "worst") isn`t so bad. Fandoms make me sad sometimes. If you`re a fan of something, aren`t you supposed to like it?

The only thing I agree on with the majority of the SH fans anymore is that 2 was the best. (It is fun to go and watch them all fight though. XD)

Lol i know those stories already and silent hill and corpse party and persona is definitely on the list, but there are not too many good plots out there already, seeking new cool stories is defenitly hard today

LIMBO
The "Mother" series (Earthbound in America)
Bioshock
Alan Wake
Halo (It gets surprisingly good for an FPS)
GTAIV (I`m in the minority on this, but IV was the only one in the series who`s story I really enjoyed.)

And last but not least is a Flash game called "The Company of Myself". That one is definitely worth a look.

I just played "To The Moon" and I cryed Ive never had that much emotional contact with a game before. Its got lovely piano music through the whole game. It would have to be my favorite OST from a game.
I played the whole game in one sitting and im glad I did.
I don't know if I was crying cuz I was Sad or Happy. Both I think.
I think its a must play for game story lovers. Play for the story not the game play.

i like persona 4 tooo.. but the ending make me very dissapointed..

Honestly, the best game storyline for me was Suikoden 2. It was run on PS1 so the graphics may not be that good (but they were good for ps1). Check it out on youtube or something if you want. But i do warn you, it is for PS1 so if you want superb graphics or something, it may not be your thing. But i assure you, plot-wise, it was one of the best. (Ah, my childhood :D)

haha, yes, that one was difficult to figure out.

Spoiler: Example

You cant get it on the first play through, you have to do it on the 2nd.
Defeat all the optional bosses (eg the reaper) & max out her arcana (empress) before Magatsu Inaba, then when you recieve the orb of sight go back into the velvet room. From there you go on to her battle. Wont spoil anymore for you :P
