Kakashi Hatake. Naruto was one of my first anime growing up and nown as an adult, I recognize that the anime as a whole honestly isn't perfect and has many, many flaws but man I thought Kakashi was so cool and even now. I have so many figures of the guy. He's awesome.

One of my favorite anime is Demon Slayer and the character is Tanjiro Kamado.

Why him specifically? Because he's a rare example of a protagonist who isn't just a "good guy" but actually commands respect. He is kind but not naive, able to forgive but not lose his purpose. He's willing to suffer, but doesn't lose his humanity - even to demons. Plus, the visuals in the anime are just fire: every battle with Tanjiro is like a painting in motion. His "water breathing" style is an aesthetic high.


Here he is a true example of what strength, empathy, and character look like gathered in one person.
