My take on porn is that most of it is crap, but recently I've found some really great stuff I actually like. The kind of porn where they don't try to make up a pointless story/plot that isn't there, and neither have seemingly random/thoughtless sex, but rather (successfully creating the illusion) that the people involved have genuine feeling for each other. It's passionate, and very visually beautiful/pleasing. I know "feelings" and "passion" may be unrelated to porn, but both are still something I've missed to see. So even if they are just porn actors, they are pretty damn good ones as such. (When speaking about the recent ones I've liked.) I at least believed in it. So... yeah. ^^"

Well first what kind of porn are we talking here? Obviously professional, but I think their is a vast difference between american and Japanese...they squeal more in japanese for starters lol.

American porn is, its well...just wrong, yes I love the odd amature 2 minuite vid, some are bloody amazing, most are not.

Yet how anybody can watch professional porn for 2 running hours is beyond me. I've never understood that honestly. Now could you imagine renting 20 videos, each 2 hours long? Would you shake the hand of with a man that did?

You see when I was a teenager in high school, I hangout with my friend who worked nights at a video store.

So I come into the video store and hang out with her for like 2 hours, a few customers come and go.

Suddenly I noticed something move on one of the camera monitors behind the desk.

I ask if somebody is in the adult section, she completely forgot and YES somebody had come in before me she tells me.

Well she got freaked out because the first thing I suggest of course, is he's probably jacking off onto the video covers or floor, so she calls her boss.

Well right on que this guy in his early 40's comes out with 20 videos to rent. These videos cost like $16 each for a couple nights too. It was insane and hilarious..and gross.

Why somebody would need all that porn was beyond me and disturbing...and ironically it put a bad taste in my mouth about porn, because whenever I think of porn - I think of him.

Well it gets better, the store manager checks her tape to see if he stole anything - turns out the guy had been creeping on us, watching us over the swing doors. She figured he expected to watch some teenagers do something dirty for some front row voyuerism and when he saw us take notice of him probably grabbed a bunch of videos to look busy and took of.

Kinda freaked us out either way...it only takes one bad memory to ruin something lol.

Luckily porn wasn't a big loss.

Well, for the porn in VNs, I think they MAY be exempted as being bad as they have a story. I read a post (I forgot his/her username) that said sex is the last barrier of trust. That is exactly the reason why they can be exempted as a bad influence; as long as the reader/gamer is mature enough to understand that sex isn't just all for fun, the sex scenes can make the story better. I will confess though, porn is addicting but I would suggest you try your best to stay away from it because it MAY make you a more twisted person. :)

I think porn is great as long as it's not of the "forceful" kind (domination is one thing, but I don't like the "shut up ho' and suck my cock or I will beat you" type movies).

Personally I'm a fan of movies from the 70s (Babylon Pink, The Devil In Miss Jones, Behind The Green Door, Angel Above - Devil Below etc.). There's the stories, the total lack of ginormous plastic bewbs and a passion that I feel is more or less gone now.

Porn is not new. It's been around almost all the time sex has. It's necessary for some individuals at any given time, mostly those not having the sex share they want. Some people just enjoy been watched or desired. Porn is just a link, offer and demand. Ah, the circle of life!!!
