whats your media player ?

up until recently I mainly used VLC ... it isnt bad ... but it has a very major fault, that is showing up more and more with the newer animes coming out ... VLC will not play 10bit video ... all you get is a green screen and sound

I have switched over to Media Player Classic as my primary media player ... it works WAY better than VLC, and playes 10bit video with no problem

I've been having that green screen problem too. So MPC won't do that to me. hmmm, may be time to switch

On my laptop, I'm switching between Spotify/iTunes and Vox. I'd really like for the Vox dev to finish what he's doing, Vox is great.
For video playback, MPlayerX. Sexy as hell and it works like a charm.

On my desktop it's foobar2k and MPC-HC with LAV filters, madVR, xy-VSFilter.

Depends what we're talking about. I have a tendency to use Media Player Classic for videos. Foolbar2000 for music. DVD and other media discs, Window Media Player.

I use itunes (i like the cover flow feature and of course to put music in my iPod), foobar 2000 (plays every lossless format) for music and mpc-hc (installed with K-Lite codec pack) for videos.

Media Player Classic <-- [Movies]
Daum Pot Player <--[Slow and laggy]
DIVX Player <--[Movies]
GOM Player <--[Everything]

For video playback I use MPC-HC with madVR but for other tasks like taking screenshots SMPlayer with Mplayer2 and I installed PotPlayer with LAV Filters and madVR for testing purposes. For audio playback I use Foobar2000 with ASIO4ALL.

Windows Media player (when I quickly want to listen to a song)
Windows Media player Classic (If nothing works with VLC Media Player & Windows Media Player)
VLC Media Player (Normal Video player)
Divx Plus Player (For HQ Divx files)
Cyberlink PowerDVD (For movies and some Video's)

For videos
KMPlayer (general stuff, like movies and anime)
SMPlayer (a GUI of mplayer, sometimes I use this in my projector to watch HD movies)
GOM Player (I hate the software but it detects issues with MKV playback that I don't see in KM and SMplayer)

Music
Winamp all the way

i'm use media classic , it's very when play video or flim HD, i usually go to jav blog and download flim HD, play with media classic and enjoys, omg .... :D

I'm currently using Zoom Player. There is a free version and you don't need to instal any codecs outside the program. You just install the player and it will install the codecs for you. Plus it has a cool UI. You guys need to try it because I think it's not that popular. ;)

I use MPC & CCCP for videos. It works pretty well.
For music, I prefer Winamp Lite. Compact, easy to use and, of course, light. :P
