Your favorite game developer, what are they?

SEGA
ATLUS
Bandai Namco

Bishop
KISS
Illusion
アパタイト
ルネ

I don't have "favourite(s)" so to speak, but I have enjoyed a variety of games over the years from different devs/publishers. Off the top of my head, I came up with these awesome titles:

Ubisoft (Prince of Persia series, AC:Black Flag, Child of Light, South Park)
Sq. Enix has also published plenty of good games accross many genres(Tomb Raider, Deus Ex, Nier)
EA/Bioware (Mass Effect, Dragon Age)
MS/Moon Studios (Ori and the Blind Forest)

I really liked Suda51 for his earlier games like Killer 7, 'Flower, Sun and Rain" and Silver Case, but I fell like he's trying to get more cautious about making enjoyable games instead of bizarre and unique ones. I fell in love with Yoko Taro games since I discovered Nier Automata, I hope he can continue making strange games.

Square-Soft, for the games Chrono Trigger/FFVII.
Sega by more so AM2 Team for games like Shenmue but also the arcade games, Hang-On being one of my favorites. Sega in the 90's did some crazy stuff.
Capcom, Monster Hunter games/Phoniex Wrights/ Street Fighter Alpha 3.
I could likely list a lot more since we have so many to choose from for example gambrion who made Jump ultimate Stars and a bunch of fun OP games.

Now if we are talking hentai devs: Empress/Tinkerbell/Black Package Try/Ail-Soft/Trois are some of my more top tier game makers.

Long time admiration:
* Clover Studio (former Capcom's studio - they could just made Okami and I would still be happy with it)
* ThatGameCompany - Journey and Flower are amazing experience games. It really is an interactive art. I'm glad that I recieved the PS3 collectors edition as a gift. The Flower theme is unbeatable.

Recent one: Team Cherry (it's been a long time since a game made my eyes sparkle again and I'm looking forward for their next game)

mmmm interesting topic, in my case:

For Traditional Videogames:

Sega (in specifically AM-2 and Sonic Team)
Arc System Works (Blazblue FTW)
Compile Heart (Neptunia and Fairy Fencer F Fan here!)
Nihon Falcom Corportation (All games of this studio, are GLORIOUS)

For Visual Novels
Key (I Love Clannad and Little Busters)
Age (Muv-Luv :3)
Circus (Da-Capo Series)

In generally i love drama visual novels jeje.

Only that i suppose

FROM SOFTWARE, well, because of the souls series and bloodborne and their new game Sekiro.
Capcom for MH franchise
Team Cherry for their Hollow Knight

Falcom in their pre-Kondo days, before they abandoned the PC market and starting developing subpar games
Blizzard before they got consumed by World of Warcraft and merged with Activision
SquareSoft absolutely killed it back in the day before they merged with Enix

CD Projekt Red since their games are good and unlike pretty much all other studios (granted, it's always the publisher but still), they don't screw over customers with DLC, microtransactions and other such practices

Hideo Kojima. Great person who produced the Metal Gear series. After Kojima was kicked out of KONAMI, the series turned into a bad one.

hmm, idk, i just remember Parade LOL
maybe because i have played all their games? (oops)

Ideal Factory, they made Boy's Love games on all system like Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS3, PS2 and PSP.

Bethesda used to be my favorite developer until they released the Skyrim anniversary edition.

For the past year I have mostly played OSU, so I guess that the OSU development team is my current fav developer.

Milkfactory
Very much looking forward to their upcoming release this month

I can relate to S:AE situation.
For me it was losing all mod compatibility a second time that drove me off.
I still play with a downpached modded SE. LOTD is still worth pushing trough the process of modding imho.

Normal or Hentai games? It changes over time, since some devs aren't as good as they used to be.

For normal games, Sega and Falcom had always been my mainstay. For hentai, currently HAMHAM-SOFT and Atelier Kaguya HonkyTonk Pumpkin. Go check 'em out.

Dieselmine used to be my all-time favorite, until they changed near the end of 2017. Since then, they produced more garbage misses instead of golden hits. Tanuki Soft and Kaeru Soft is on a long drought with no end in sight.

Big developers are geting more and more out of touch with their consumers, so I'm mostly enjoying the indie scene(同人作)on Ci-en these days. Even if the big developers have Ci-en homepages, they never bother to reply nor interact with their consumers. That's why they rarely make what the consumer actually wanted.

A fellow Falcom enjoyer, eh? I see that you're a man of culture as well.
Used to, in fact I don't like how Kiseki turned out since Sen 4
That said I like all Ys titles but seven. And since Memories of Celceta, the dubs are so good.
Sega btw, I like Panzer Dragoon, Virtual On and Dragon Force. Sega era Puyo Puyo have really good dubs. In fact I like some Tony Taka Shining too. Shenmue 1 and 2 are still nice looking (DC ver) but steam ver so meh looking, 3 is so sad. The House of the Dead, the old ones are very solid. But notable Sega thing now is otoge or weeb otoge, and it's their unique niche, is the papa of Vocaloid sure helps. Anyway other then otoge, I wonder what games nowadays I found sparks.
Red Entertainment is a dev I forgot to put into favourite above. Other then Sakura Wars, they also made Mitsumete Knight.
Oh my most fav racing game of all time and still now is OutRun 2, tho outsourced so not purely Sega. The music is obviously Sega, the quirks also Sega, my fav port also Sega AM2, also the series was and been Sega. I don't like any other OutRun tho. Wait its def pure Sega game, dumb brain, sorry was mistaken.
Hmm Sega consoles are rly great tho. Not all of them but Genesis, Saturn and DC are indeed runs with libraries of good games. And right now they still focus on studio arrangements music releases (iirc iirc) and arcade scene (only otoge, but still much better than Capcom).
Other then arcade otoge, if there anything I believe I care about Sega now, it's something like Phantasy Star 0 or Phantasy Star Portable 2 (tho PSP2 is developed by Alfa System, it's still based from PSO).
Falcom def a big plus is from their music.
Oh Jelly-filled Donut, you prolly love eroges by porori. Don't know about the devs you mentioned but me a fan of porori.
Also I indeed not a pedo

Ah, yes. You're a Man of Culture indeed, in so many levels. Almost forget to mention Sol-fa-soft and Yoru no Hitsuji. How could I forget? Definitely proud to be part of this community :ROFLMAO:

Haven't played normal games in a while. Maybe I should've fired my old consoles. they've been collecting dust, ever since I moved to PC.
