By thick hair, in what way you mean it? Just thick hair in general or dry/frizzy/breaking hair?

Seriously, you don't have to answer. I was just wondering for Asian thick hair...at times can be frizzy especially in the fog or when it's humid. There is a lot of shampoo and condition I can't use because it either too heavy for my hair or makes my hair frizzy. :)

Asian hair is usually course and thick but generally Asian hair can also be thin.
Hair care tips will really depend on the texture of your hair as opposed to race.

* If you have frizzy hair it will also require products that are heavier to de-frizz. A good (natural!) Leave-In conditioner for example.
* If you have fine hair, any heavy product or product build-up can make it look too "flat" so make sure to cleanse regularly.
* The basic routine will involve a soft and gentle, natural shampoo (try to avoid products that foam a lot or contain a lot of SLS (Sodiumlaurylsulfate) which strips your hair's natural oils and usually leave the hair all dry and frizzy)
There are a lot of Sulfate/paraben/mineral oil/silicon free products available these days. Be sure to check your local drug store for these :)
* Having a good hair brush or wide tooth combs will help prevent breakages/damage as well as help distribute your natural oils from your roots to your ends.
A great leave in conditioner ( Pure Coconut Oil or Argan Oil based products among many) that is applied to hair while it is damp will also bring your ends back to life if they are dry!
Oh and regular trims at the hair dressers of course to avoid split ends is a must as well.

Wow! So much information. Thank you! I normally use Bain de Terre, but I don't like their conditioner.

Depending on your budget, you could into the OGX product line. They have quality stuff and have pretty much everything for any hair type. The Awapuhi/Ginger Shampoo/Conditioner in particular are well received among our customers.

I looked up OGX, I don't see any product with ginger in it. However, I just happen to have a travel size argan oil of morocco conditioner in my drawer I'm going to try.

/me very excited...

Speaking of shampoo, up until recently I was always using body soap to wash my hair until a friend told me off for doing so :X

D: Forgive me kamisama :forsaken:

Speaking of what arrived yesterday evening, guess what hasn't arrived :sigh:

Though, how ironic. Pichu lives relatively near to Japan than Unown-kun, where then it should be logical... - But nevertheless gets Unown-kun earlier...xD

Depends on what shipping method you use. I received mine a little over 2 weeks ago and I live on the opposite side of the planet.

Yeah, but it's nevertheless odd. Because the ship has only from Japan direction south-west in curve toward Singapore to ship - and Unown-kun lives in/on the north-west coast of Europe, the cargo ship has then a obviously longer way by the oceans and seas of this world to... Well, toward you has the ship to the west coast of N. America to ship, where then either with the cargo plane or with the cargo train (the 3rd method would be with the trucks, though...) continued will toward Chicago...

Well I had a store coupon so I used FedEx overnight shipping. Flew straight from Hong Kong (I ordered the Asia region version from Play Asia) to Chicago.

:EDIT: Looking back at the tracking it actually made a quick stop at Memphis, Tennessee (FedEx Headquarters) before arriving in Chicago.

The Awapuhi+Ginger line it relatively new. It's this one :)

Well, shoot...I guess I'll have wait. I tried the trial conditioner, and it was okay.

I actually use the TeaTree Mint shampoo/conditioner from that brand lol.

They are kinda pricey though about $7 each for a relatively small bottle.

I don't worry about the price if it's a good product. Especially when I can't find decent hair product that I can use.

/me starts laughing...

Pichu, pichu...never use body soap on your hair, it will strip your hair.

That explains why I have so much white hair... or is it stress :ohnoes:

don't worry, I'm getting a few grays as well. Mostly from family related stress :/

You know how it goes, family are the people you love most in life, but also the people that cause you the most stress and wish you can tie them to a rocket and send them to the moon sometimes :/

Moon? Please, I have some I'd like to send to the ends of space D:

Nah, it's probably stress. No hair product causes your hair to turn grey except for hair dye :3

Well I guess it's time for a holiday
