Awesome images, unown! Dubai sure looks like the physical manifestation of grandeur, if sometimes excessive. I don't know if it's just because of the angle of the picture or if I've just gotten a better sense of real-world scale of an object out of a photo, but the photo you shot of the mosque from the outside makes it look even bigger than I'd felt before. Seems like it was one hell of a trip!

It's quite amazing (not sure if this is the right word) to see how rich people can be. Limousine's, Ferrari's, bodyguards, houses in sizes beyond retarded and the like. I was in awe most of the trip.
And yea, the mosque is huge. 4 pillars measuring 107m, Highest dome at 75m and a total of 82 domes. All white and sparkly clean.

Nice figure! I've never played the game, but a lot of their figures look nice, I might have to get one. I did order a KanColle accessory set for my Vita a few weeks ago though. Still waiting on it.

Nice. Unfortunately the hard plastic cover is for the Vita slim, I have the original Vita so it won't work. But all I really wanted was the pouch anyway.

The vita has finally started to get some good games, probably worth getting if you can find it on sale or something. I think the original is better then then slim, though it's not made anymore so you will probably only find it used.

The main difference is the screen. The Vita 1000 models (original) have a OLED screen, while the 2000 models (slim) have a LCD screen. Sony downgraded the screen to save on manufacturing cost, the difference is quite noticeable between the 2, the OLED looks sharp and the colors pop, while the LCD looks a bit washed out and dull. The positive side of the drop in screen quality is the battery life is a tad bit better.

Also, the slim just feels a bit cheaper when you hold it, it's obviously not as sturdy as the original, and feels like it will break if dropped.

But it's up to you which to get, I guess since you are just getting a Vita either is fine, but if you see them both for the same price get the original.

Before you buy either one however look at the insane prices for Vita memory cards, they are a big reason why many people don't buy a Vita. I got my 64 Gigabyte memory card "on sale" for $90, it's usually about $120. And the other sizes are just as expensive for the amount of memory. Both the original and slim use the same type of memory card.

One advantage the slim has over the original is that the slim comes with 1 GB of built in memory, while the original doesn't come with any built in memory. I download most of my games on the PSN Store, and buy lots of DLC, so that 1 GB of memory would be pretty much useless for me, it's also voided once you stick a memory card in the system. The Vita can either read the internal memory, or the memory card. Not both at once.

But if you don't plan on downloading your games, and don't buy any DLC the 1GB built in memory should work fine. (some Vita games are download only, as they aren't popular enough for a physical release outside of Japan, Atelier Series, Neputina etc..)

Yeah, the memory cards were the death of the Vita in the west. Luckily Japanese developers still support the system. Even if only a handful of those titles get localized.
