wikiを貼っていただいているので、私が知る範囲でのざっくりとした説明を・・・・
所ジョージというタレントが居まして、いわゆる趣味人なんですが世田谷に住んでいるので「世田谷ベース」を設立、拠点にしてオールドアメリカンを軸に車、バイクをメインに展開しています。現在はあまり活動してないのかな？雑誌等では自身が監修か何かをしていたDaytonaそれ以外ではアメカジ系のLightningで見かけたことがありますね。
ステッカー等の基本的な物を中心に、以前はカスタムハーレー等も販売していました。（エッサホイサブランドであったかどうかは覚えてないです）
基本的に、オッさん目線で見た憧れのアメリカという視点で展開しているのでとてもわかりやすく、キャッチーであると思っています。
個人的に好きでも嫌いでもないタレントなので特に気にはしていないのでこの程度しか解らないです・・・・・
あ、Lightningの付録についていたschottのワンスターレザーキーホルダーはVMAXの鍵付けて数年経った今もムホムホしています(･ε･)

エッホイサーとかエンヤコラーとかエッサホイサ、ホイサッサーというのは掛け声、合いの手なので、特に意味合いは無いのです
ソイヤという掛け声は昔、一世風靡セピアというグループが流行らせましたが、それ以前からあった掛け声のようです。

Indeed. Not to mention the word limit―1000 words could easily be exhausted on describing mechanisms alone. The phrase "horror from space" makes me think of either extraterrestrial invasions or calamitous celestial phenomena (with the always-ubiquitous theme of a 'singularity'), both of which would still take some geekery to write about. Stargazing sounds like it can be integrated with "wish" as an example of the latter. I guess I'll go with "wish", then. Thanks for your input.
Those sound like nice themes, actually. I didn't mean conformity as in with social norms or mores and all that boring stuff, though. Maybe my phrasing was confusing, but by "write in conformity with" I meant "writing an entry in conformity with the theme". In other words, I'd like to avoid themes that may be limiting or overly specific/specialised or difficult to write about in general, because―how do I say this without sounding like an elitist douchebag?―I'd rather have low barrier to entry for the contest than high expectations.
SPAAAAAAAAACE may be nice, but it may be pretty limiting? Like, what would you write about with regards to SPAAAAAAAACE other than science fiction (and maybe politics)? Or maybe it could be made more generic and also account for "outer realms" in the fantasy sense, but that may be pretty similar with last round's theme ("an imaginary journey"). I agree that seasonal themes are nothing if not expectable, but "wish" sounds pretty attractive, too. Do you think I could go with that? (Would you go along with that?)
Hey Frank, I have a question. As KK is away, it falls to me to take care of her contest for the time being, and a new round should've been up by now. Do you have any idea for a theme? Or, if I may be so direct: if you were to join, what theme do you think would reel you in? It's not that I can't think of any; I have a couple in mind, but am not sure which one wouldn't be difficult to write in conformity with and thus be a hurdle to would-be entrants...
