Thanks for the guide, but still getting the same error after following your steps EXACTLY as how they are.
Never seen a nodvd patch take so long to come out.

Issue
Some network images and images mounted by DAEMON Tools from compressed/encrypted volumes may not work with StarForce: you may get "Conflict with emulation software detected" message.
Similar issue sometimes may occur with images located on RAID (expecially software) volumes.
All images on Intel Matrix Storage controllers in RAID/AHCI mode which use iastor.sys driver are affected, too.

Solution
Relocate your image to local storage formatted with pure (non-compressed and non-encrypted) NTFS or FAT file system. Also since version 4.11 most network images should work fine.
Alternatively you can burn images as is to CDROM or DVD using CDFS or UDFS file system and mount from there or burn images with RMPS emulation option in Alcohol 120.

That's not possible bro', because the game checks the original disk each time you run it. Well at least that's my case. I don't know if it's the same case for everyone else.
So even if I upload the houkago.exe file. I don't think that works for you.

The install guide didn't work for me.
I did the following:
extract normal Iso and mds and mount the iso
extract the setup files to a folder
put setup patch in created folder, run the patch
then run the setup.

BTW a very good mounting program is called "WinCDEmu" and it is free.
Very easy to use and may be better than daemon tools or alcohol 120%
I used to use power iso and magic iso -- but this WinCDEmu seems to have more support for
most of my image files and I don't get errors so far.

Too bad this method doesn't seem to work for everybody. With Alcohol I get the "wrong key" -message after the verification process (which takes like, half an hour because my CPU craps itself for some reason). With Daemon Tools it's the usual emulation software detected blabla.
Guess I'll have to wait for a proper nodvd patch.

I always get the eror at step 9, Thaks for all sdvise now I can open .mds with daemon lite.It look like most people always struck at 9.I already use all .reg and userdata but these are not working.I still get the same emu error.Any advice please how to pass this step.

Ugh it's not working for me lol T.T
So I replaced the mds, renamed iso to mdf, and mount the mds.
The install screen comes up but still asks me for a serial code--so I extract the install files to a folder and use setup patch.
I get the game installed but when I start the game it asks me for a key code: to which I put
72FM-ZTAZ7J-QP5588-XX5J98-8NR5EA
and it says it's invalid.

ver2.zip does not work either.If I do not mount the mfs file It will ask me to insert the disk but if I do it the emu eror always pop up any advise to avoid this problem please

Edit your environment variables, both local and user: add a variable DEVMGR_SHOW_NONPRESENT_DEVICES with value 1

Open your device manager, on menu enable to show hidden devices, check on the new "non pnp drivers" and you'll find starforce there, one entry for every version installed included the non workings; you can disable/enable it, or set to start only when a software request for it (best option) or unistall it.

edit:
Starforce driver usually are buried samewhere inside %userprofile% with strange names and well hidden, they're protected at ntfs permission level and in use so you have to stop the service and change the owner and permissions from admnistrative account to manage them, so just use the unistaller/remover if you want get rid (there a plenty on the net).

Personally i prefer to update it to latest version released from their sites that support x64, and stop them by editing the registry that is faster (instructions above are just simplier for standard users).

Edit:
The name of the service is Securety Drivers, if you set to start on demand it will remain unloaded on the disk until you launch an application that require it.
Manual start NET START SECDRV , manual stop NET STOP SECDRV from elevated cmd.

Yeah there are ways around it but why bother, I'm not aware of any Starforce protected game that hasn't been cracked. Patience is a virtue
