A stupid way to deal with the emulation problem.

I tried to burn that mdf to the disc
then select the datetype (StarForce) with RMPS also.
Then sucessfully passed

I also try to burn the mdf + mds(8K) to DVD with RMPS by Alcohol 120%.
Then it can pass the validate!

Thanh aoyu18.Now I can play this game follow your step but using alcohol 120 instead of daemon lite and it is working.Remember to change your alcohol120 option as aoyu18 told, otherwise it will not work even you use alcohol120 for many times.

Nothing works for me. :( Alcohol and Dlite both tell me "emulation detected', even tried the cloacking-thingy and nothing. Don't have DVDs to waste on burn attempts. Been waiting for this game and now can't do crap. Big :(

Edit : Side note, I find it strange that on all the DDl and torrents this game has, none got replies or crying that it requires some tinkerin around to make it work. Weird.

If you google for a nodvd, you end up in this thread, also there is always around 50~120ish+ people looking at this thread.

I'm in the same situation. But when I burned image to DVD-RW using Alcohol 120% with Starforce and RPMS options all tests are ok and I can play the game.

P.S. The game is really simple.

turned the virtual drives off or zero and tried to install the game again, I could play the game finally.

The worrying thing is that I think this "solution" IS the no-DVD. Which is depressing if i'm right.

Well it works well if you burn the .mds (9kb) and check RMPS with alcohol 120.

Yes, burn the .mds as an image into a dvd, it should also burn the .mdf automatically. Just make sure they are both on the same folder and RMPS is check in the burning options.
