Man this will be great, the game definitely needed a last boss and I'm really glad that they actually made one. Yeah Erika is cool, but finishing both of games with the same scene wouldn't be interesting.

Also did you check the Promotion movie - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=coI94MoYNCo - ? Seems like Hojo Ujiyasu and her sister will turn into onis at some point as I expected; http://puu.sh/nxrMc/c9abea39eb.jpg.

Most likely they'll be able to save them somehow though, I really dont think that they will let those two die.

yea i already watched that....it's based from true event.....when hideyoshi attacked hojo castle its said that hojo ujiyasu isn't at the castle (somehow disappear)....and we can imagine the story....hojo meet with kensuke in her devils form and kensuke saved her and boom thats it another harem candidate....:D

Well, reading on the stuff written on the site, it says that players who've played the non-X version will have a new experience with this one because it's like a new scenario (with 3 major arcs if I understood that correctly). There's nearly double the story content and double the CG content plus the H-scenes (which I see as a bonus only since I really did enjoy the story of the non-X version).

A few things I've noted while reading are:
The two girls from the Hojo faction are going to go missing during a certain event. They are shown in a scene on the trailer that is reminiscent of some of the battle scenes at the end of the first game, wearing what appears to be oni masks or are oni-fied (bleach anyone?).

Takeda Nobutora's page says that she "somehow turned into an oni" due to her overwhelming lust for power.

SenKoi X's new features page mention "conquering the country with 54 wives". - I interpret this as a harem end with all 54 girls (Kiyo included) and a revision of the first game's plot since there's really a ton of plot holes and oddly cut-off story twists like Kensuke's "Sword of the Nitta/Hongou" (the tsuba of the sword is the mon/crest for the Nitta family) and it's laser blade Oie-Ryuu-effect thingy (I translated this as Inherited Style or a Style Passed down to family members. It was also called Otome Ryuu). IMO he never did realize he could massacre the oni with that sword alone as it showed one-cut-one-kill special effects many times throughout the story.

Finally, there was one thing mentioning something about one/the Hojo girls being tough strategic and calculating but is actually very sweet (maybe dere-dere or ama-ama IIRC).

Well all of these is just my own interpretation using both machine and studied translations. I'm not exactly good at the whole Japanese Language subject yet but I can somewhat understand much.

Well non-X version had many cutted arcs for sure even without the h-scenes. The biggest ones were Sunpu's conquest, The entire problem with Matsudaira and the Hojos I think. Most likely the first 12-13 chapter will stay almost same since all of oda's characters already got many events and we could even pinpoint the h-scenes; For example Touka's h-scene is just before her death, Mitsuki's at the event where she asks the "love" thing to Kensuke before the Echizen war just as Makoto & Ichi's threesome, Sanwaka's at the beach scene, Mugiho's at the riverside etc. But there wasn't any event between Zakuro, Matsuba, Konayuki, Koi, Kasuga, Toto, Kokoro, Akiko, Yuuki, Aoi etc (or at least not enough to have sex) So I'm expecting new arcs at the latter part of the game, Actually I'm pretty sure about this.

based from the promo movie we can assume the story will takes from senkoi beginning...for me its little bit disappoint we have to play from beginning....cause its just looks like a remake.....well compare to first game that only 26 and 140 CG we have 46 hour gameplay and 270 CG in senkoi x......i hope they do change and not just copy the data from senkoi and use just like that....and 1 thing that i've been hoping if they do another senkoi....that is i really want to see character "tobi kato (flying hawk)....i really want to see he/she againts kensuke...it will be most awesome fight....lol

Well, if they do make it a very similar yet different scenario (I mean, they said conquer the country this time with 54 wives and if you cut down Touko and Erika from that for plot reasons then it's not 54 in the end). The trailer kind of shows focus on Kensuke's sword at one point, and at the other it shows stuff like Konami against the giant oni boss.

I doubt the oni child and Tobi Katou would actually have spotlights as plot devices in the X version, but they would be there as part of the story as they were in the first I assume. Me thinks it's going to be like Koihime Musou where the story is similar yet different each game, only this time, it's a straight to the happy harem end plot just like what they're probably aiming for with Kakumei/Eiyuutan. Baseson is somewhat gearing towards that happy end harem direction with the recent releases IMO, they probably found that it's their main specialty since Koihime Musou and Appare Tenka Gomen all wound up going that way. Honestly, I appreciate that mindset from them. They're one of the few VN makers that I feel at-home with reading their releases.

One side thought I found funny is that since this time Kensuke would actually have sex with the ladies, maybe some of their fates and outlooks in the story will change (like Aoi, Erika, and Touko for example) due to him. Sex does that much to gender-bent generals. :D

Dude dont focus that much the "54" part, its just the count of the heroines and a kind of "slogan" since they cant say that "50 because 4 of them is dying at the story", it would be just spoiler. The story will be mainly same, they even said that it'll have an arc after the ending of the game so I'm pretty sure they wont change the Erika or Touko's deaths. Also the trailer has the cg where Kensuke & Kuon kills Erika so I think its pretty impossible to change those two's fate, but lets hope they wont kill any other than them.

Just as @Raspberry said its not something like Koihime musou - Shin koihime musou which was a complete remake. This one is more like an "extended version", which adds more content the original game. Think like this: Lets say original Sengoku koihime was 30 hours long, This one will be 45 hours; 30 old one + 15 hours of new content.

read my post above....senkoi with 26 hr gameplay with 140CG and senkoi x with 46 hr gameplay and 470 CG...its already official written in the site.....and yes i againts if senkoi became anothe koihime musou....it'll destroy the game.....and frankly im not really care if there are h-scene or not as long as they do another senkoi....i really love the game....the story,characters,love comedy,romance and even the sad event....and i really hope they not stop senkoi after this....we even not seen northern warlords yet like date masamune etc....hoping they will cover all of warlords of sengoku period

Those cgs are including the h-scenes too though. Lets say each character has 2 h-scenes; there are 50+ heroines and just those makes more than 100. There are also threesomes or h-scenes which have more than one cg (like one blowjob and one sex etc) so personally I think there'll be only ~100 new non-hentai cgs and 7-10 hours legth arcs at total. Which is still a pretty big number.

I'm pretty sure that they wont stop making sengoku koihime games though, Probably there'll be one more game at least, Like a FD or something.

That's Tobi-katou and he/she was a "kusa" or ninja and not a strategist. The guy who's already very suspicious looking and was also a ninja (currently reading the first VN again for the Nth time). I guess it's no wonder he got banished twice. On a side note, the name Tobi-Katou might be an allusion to the historical Takeda/Sanada ninja of the name "Sarutobi Sasuke". At least there's a "tobi" in there.

Oh you might be right, I completely ignored the magatama and just focused the "history is interesting" part. Since they are hiding her/his name and specially stated that her "richish" clothes, Being Emperor chances seems pretty high to me now.

I'm not really sure about the gender though, I guess its not that important anyway.

Now gotta check the sample voices, I didnt listen any of them except this one.

Actually I could listen only 4 character's Sample voice because it loads so fucking slow, and couldnt find any spoilerish thing in those four. Can you name which characters' sample voices has spoiler please, so I can just listen them.

Edit: Aand finally managed to listen all of them, it took 2-3 fucking hours tho. Yeah there are a couple of spoilers here and there, like sakuya's sample voices (about sunpu & mari) or Miku's, Aoi's etc. They weren't too deep so instead of bothering, it got me excited, I'm fine with this kind of spoilers. Also seems like we'll see Zakuro's & Makoto's oie-ryuu's too, I'm looking forward for those as well. Waiting for a month with this kind of hype will be hard though.

Erika's was the biggest spoiler for me. I guess she either did "return" as Kensuke said near the end of the first VN, or they actually prevent Honnouji from happening. As for the mystery guy, he is also probably the "observer outside of history" that Erika mentions on the first game too after she reveals her villain self.

Yeah as I said he/she feels like an outsider of the world, like a third party just watching the things but he still can be the emperor too, because that necklace stands out too much and it gotta have some meaning imo.

About Erika, I dont know man how can they accept her after the all things he did. Yeah her sample voices seems pretty soft and currently she is more like just a wife of Kensuke than being the villain tho. I guess there is no way to predict those for now.
