Yeah, that's what I thought. But I just knew that if I didn't spell it out, someone would jump to the conclusion that this is some sort of sequel.
Like what I described at the end of that post? Not exactly. I might not have been clear, but that last paragraph was just me bringing up one of the ideal scenarios I've mentioned more than once in this thread. It was meant to be only loosely connected to the talk about the Reina game, though I can see why it might have looked that way. If it had actually been done already, I wouldn't be wishing for it.
But the Reina game is worth playing, especially if you liked the Marina games. It practically part of a running series of NTR confession games by that writer, with the Reina game being the first one he did it with. Plus for the Reina one and the Mariko one too, the situation is Netorare to begin with. The wife has an affair, the husband finds out and questions about it until she confesses all the details. As a result he discovers an NTR fetish and it turns in Netorase. It only with the Marina games that he made it so that it was pure Netorase from the start with the husband instigating everything. In this respect I actually like the Reina and Mariko ones more, since I much prefer Netorare to Netorase.
It because of this that I was describing that situation. Basically me saying 'I really love the NTR confession situation, but.....' I'd like it a lot better if there was no netorase involved even after the protag discovers he gets turned on hearing about his partner's affair. I want to see a similar story, but where the protag discovers the affair, she confesses it all to his face, he gets turned on and discovers an NTR fetish, and
then the heroine advances the situation while the protag is paralysed by the conflict between being betrayed and heartbroken and being intensely aroused. A situation where the protag isn't the one in control of the situation and definitely not instigating her to have sex with another man.
That's what I'm saying. These games a great, but they would be
perfect for me if the story followed that kind of setting. And no, I haven't seen it done properly anywhere yet, whether eroge, ero-manga or whatever. It's a constant disappointment for me.
