Choice 1 2 3 4 just a build-up story so you can pick any part you want to start, 1=from the start.
The real choice just waaaaaaay after 4.

The first 3 choices are just the prologue...the parts that you could actually download before the actual release of the game as the trial. It's not voiced btw.
choice 4 is the start of the game that you had to pay for...starting from here the game is voiced...but the first choice determining an ending will be when the screen turns kinda red...you'll definitely notice it.

If you want to you might be able to say that the "Akina-Hen" chapter...the previous game...was more or less just a prologue to this one.

SPOILER!!!

In the first game MC falls in love with the caretaker (so to say)...but she's married and has a daughter.
Chise...this new game's female lead...tries to warn MC that it's wrong and stuff with a married woman and all and confesses her own feelings for the MC...
well...as it turns out Akina has not only been doing naughty things with the MC but also other guys...one of whom seemingly impregnated her...
MC being like totally responsible wants to take care of Akina thinking it's his unborn child...only to find her having sex in a closet with NTR-guy...
NTR-guy making fun of MC like: "U rly thought this is your child? Pfff!"
MC being totally devastated, running off home and isolating himself.
Then Chise comes and encourages him to come back to the dorm where all of the stuff happened and telling him that she still loves him and what not and that she will wait for him.
Why that is...play the trial to "Chise-Hen"...quite beautifully explained there.
Well...the trial of the new game explains why Chise is in love with MC and also how the MC starts developing feelings for Chise...
The rest is typical VENUS gameplay...slowly building up the loving between the leads only to make it all come crashing down xD

SPOILER END!!!

there are 5 different endings though...so who knows what might happen...only got to the first one so far myself

Mmm sinc eits animated maybe is because is too heavy (for the memory and processor), try playing after reseting your PC, or search the options to make more light on the pc.

PD: i haven't have a problem, but i am not sure i have spend 1h playing that game (too many games i am interested lately xD)
