Completely agree, especially as aftermath NTR is usually only in the ending of a route, as the author doesn't bother to elaborate on the lie and let people enjoy it.
To add on what you say, I won't mind some sexier clothes too as a subtle sign of change. But not the usual slut style used, it's so overboard it's not erotic at all...
I agree on both counts. Boku no Kanojo wa Gatenkei isn't a game with such elements of scorn or cruelty from the heroine, but it does have something with underwear that works quite well without involving a drastic image change from the heroine. That sort of thing can be good.
And by aftermath, I'm guessing you're talking about stuff like NTR mystery where the guy never finds out the truth, or finds out but keeps quiet and tries to keep the relationship going? So that you see how her treatment towards him changes the longer the affair goes on without him nothicing/doing anything about it?
You more or less described netorare nurse 1, and again that is what i like, the gyarufication is just more of a symtom, if you come across anything (and i mean anything, novel, vn, rpg, doujin/manga, even western porn) tell me, i really love that kind of ntr.
Sure I'd be happy to. Though it's hard to find that kind of thing, at least where seeing her treatment towards the boyfriend/husband change as the affair goes on. I'd like to find some myself.
I happen to love the characters in Marina and felt like there was missed opportunities for what Marina could have been. More so I feel an official Marina sequel might just be another punish Kenji story with Marina actually leaving him, painting him as a bad father and a man who can't love his wife if he wants to share her. All of which I feel is incredibly wrong and ignorant of this widely accepted fantasy now. I honestly don't believe TEAM NTR understands wife watching/sharing is not an abnormal fantasy despite the crazy amount of games they've made. I feel they are getting closer though...maybe its a cultural thing.
Well I understand where you're coming from, but it seems like most japanese would see any kind of fetish as abnormal. They tend to have firm ideas of what normality entails which tend towards the conservative and old fashioned. While the young might play around, serious relationships and married couples should have vanilla sex with each other. Aural is considered normal, and a man performing anal on a woman can be waved by without much of a stir, but anything beyond that?
Sure a variety of fetishes are known in japan and known to be possessed by a lot of people, but even then it's widely considered to be delving into being immoral and bad. Guilty pleasures. Not something you want known to the public. People there might accept that individuals have their tastes, but it's something that's meant to be kept private and not exposed to the public eye.
The conformist view and fear of any scandal is a part of it too, but you can boil it down to the japanese just being conservative as a culture. Most of the extreme fetish works we get from there are likely due to them using manga/anime/eroge as an outlet for the stuff they can't expose anywhere else.
Besides, for some people the sense of immorality and that it's wrong to be turned on by the idea of the woman you love having sex with someone else, can be part of what makes it arousing. Everyone has their own tastes.
Also, no offense but calling it a "widely accepted fantasy" seems a bit like wishful thinking to me. Sure it's much more well known and in open minded communities it might be accepted. But the lowest common denominator still very much treats it as deviant behaviour, wonder why any man would actually enjoy such a thing. It's normal to get a huge amount of irrational anger if you put an NTR type event anywhere in media outside of where you usual find it. Plenty of narrow minded cretins use 'Cuck' as a insult online. It's unpleasant, but it's definitely there.
To be fair, we probably have quite different views towards this. I'm the type who treats NTR as a great turn on as a fantasy, but don't really think I can handle it happening in real life. For me the jealousy, anger and other negative emotions are part and parcel to the fetish and even if I get really turned on and cum hard from it, the feelings of anger towards the guy and anger/betrayal/hurt towards the girl, all remain just as strong. After enjoying a good NTR work, it's common for me to thinking dark thoughts towards the characters involved.
I can't imagine sharing my wife, getting jealous and turned on, and then be smiling and all friends once everyone's done. I just don't think I'm made for it.
Different people work differently. Even if people have the same fetish, they'll have slightly different responses and ways of handling it.
If everyone in the world could accept that everyone has their own tastes and that if they aren't hurting anyone else, then no-one should attack them for it, the world would be a better place.....
