Reading the comments here about it I decided to give it a whirl despite not liking shota at all. And boy I'm glad I did, the blog format is something I really like and only wish was in more games; really loving it so far.
Does anyone know what the latest version of the game is? The best I could find to download is 1.44 but I think it might be out of date?

That were a very good and interesting posts. And i think that control, or lack of thereof, is both important in NTR and NTS for me. Like in NTRPG 2 we have a young man who wants to be strong and protect to anyone but he get bested by a real hero, who is much more stronger and experienced than he is. Its not much he can do other then watch his GF and Sis being fucked and train himself even harder to one day get them back. If he was already strong & powerful and got NTRed by guy of same power level it wouldn't feel the same, he could just beat him and end it anytime he wanted.

In every NTR story there is a point where protag will figure out that something bad is going on, like heroine is getting late but what really can he do? Call her? Ok, shes not answering. Go look for her? - Yeah, good luck with that. Those are great moment of suspense where protag have no control. And later when heroines finally comes home and says some excuses its not that much that our protag can do either - talk to her? She says everything is fine. And then its just escalates further from there. And even as protag tries to fix things ultimately he wont succeed :(. Well unless developers will put some good endings which i think are often out of place and are totally unnecessary :8

And now we get to the quote of DiabolicalGenius above. I think that the mentallity of the wife is key in Netorase. Artists and developers focus too much into breaking the wife, however I think that the wife must be corrupted not broken. So instead of focusing to much into making the wife/girlfriend go from: "Not please I don't want to betray my husband, please forgive me" to "Darling, gomennasai!!! I'm comming!!! Iku, Iku Ikuuuuuuu!!!!" they should focus more into making her go from "Darling, I love you, so I will never cheat on you" to "Darling, I love you, so I will make you suffer". The wife will learn to get a kick out of making his husband dispair and suffer, just like a dominatrix gets a kick out of punishing his "pet", but she will never go too far, before the thread breaks, she will stop. That's probably why works like Marina are so popular.

This is what i especially liked.
Its so true that writers focus too much on breaking the heroine, make her stupid sex-hungry nympho that is totally different character instead of corrupting her, making her cruel and cold toward protag but still retaining most of her character. And in NTR why not let her go too far? I remember in playing some of Venus games that near the end of them i was really hating on heroines after all they did to protag, he was caring for them, trying to help and they just stabbed him in the back. But as being Venus games it was more of a psychological aspect, without erotic elements like in ending of Netorare nurse 3

And i think sadistic archetype of heroine is pretty popular too, take Oboro from taimanin asagi - even is she is not physically doing anything in a scene she will be there humiliating and taunting during it. Problem is its more of a yuri thing in TA so its "safer" to do then Dominatrix style F/M scene, even if its just few scenes near the (bad?) end in NTR(S). Its also very satisfying to watch them (sadistic heroines) suffer in return one day.

And speaking about yuri - why are netori characters in NTR are always male? Why not have some VNs where netori character is some crazy female, she doesn't have to be lesbian, just make her crazy yandere who will just want to humiliate and corrupt/destroy our protag's GF just to take her place. There could be even plot twists when yandere herself would be a victim of one of dudes who was helping her. Or just some sadistic lady who happens to have total control over protag and herione, like in a Starless but with proper ntr and less sex scenes with a direct protag involvement. Why do we have here better ideas than like 90% of modern NTR companies

Anyway, NTR or NTS I too think its better if heroine is more active and independent, not just some passive character that will do anything that netori\protag will tell her to do. If she would feel more like real (good written) character, not just like plot device with bland personality that is also easily changed.

Yeah this was updated a few days ago. The whole incest part kinda threw me off (but then again this is hentai, and they just might be stepmoms). I really thought the boys were just challenging each other to gain their rivals mom, but the new updates kinda swerved that. If you listen to some clips both mom's are moaning their own boys name. Makes things more interesting, sure.

It seems I was missunderstood. When I was talking about masochism, I only meant it for NETORASE not for NETORARE. The MC in Netorare is definetly not a masochist. He doesn't gets off by the pain caused by being cheated on, he just suffers. That's the main difference between the two:

NETORARE: The MC is not a masochist. He feels pain from the cheating and suffer.
NETORASE: The MC is a masochist. He feels pain from the cheating and enjoys it.

I pretty much agree with most of what you said in that post, but this bit is slightly off. I admit I also muddied the waters and used NTS when talking about Mariko too, but it's a little different.

NETORARE: When someone's loved one is taken by someone else against their will, usually being cheated on by a partner, but can also count where someone watches their crush do it with someone else so long as it's from the PoV of the person watching.

NETORASE: When someone's loved one has a physical relationship with someone else with their partners explicit or tacit approval, either by instigating their partner to do it, or arranging it with the other person without their partners knowledge and setting them up to cheat.

So with the latter it's implicit that the protag has an NTR fetish and therefore will almost certainly have a masochist tendency since they're deliberately arranging something they know will hurt them. With the former however, it's still netorare whether they have a NTR fetish or not. Whether they feel pain and suffer, or get turned on by it is beside the point. It is still netorare unless they embrace the situation and encourage it for the sake of their fetish.

That's why it got a little confusing in my post, since the situation I was talking about which is netorase with control switched over to the heroine, might technically have to be called netorare. The difference being that instead of being taken by another guy, she's going out and doing it with another guy of her own initiative for the sake of turning her partner on. It blurs the line between netorase and netorare to the point it's hard to tell which one it really is.
Is she still betraying the protag when she's doing it with full knowledge of his fetish and with the intention of satisfying that fetish? Would it be different if it's the same situation, but she is actually mainly using it as an excuse to cheat on him?
If it's not netorare and a bit off from netorase, then what would we call it? Not having a term makes it hard to discuss. Has this come up on japanese boards yet?

Sayoko got a new update today (1.16) with a new scene. Like the previous update, it's not integrated to the story but as a bonus scene in the "Extra Tips" menu when you finish the game. Even so, the scene was great and I like how the dev adds some new contents about what happens after the end. When I finished the game for the first time, I was a bit disappointed by the two ends. It was too short without any scene, but now it's really exciting to imagine what the dev will add within the next update.

Really a great game! Not at the same level as the two NTRPG but almost and Sayoko is less depressing.

It's the same, you only have two ends, but the dev added some new scenes to develop the story after these two ends. For now, you have one scene for the good end, two for the "netorase" end and another one that explains what happened just before you choose between the two ends.

To see these scenes, you just have to finish the game and you'll unlock the new content inside the "Extra Tips" menu in the MC's bedroom.

I could tell you what happen during these new scenes, but it's better to find by yourself ;)

The whole game is NTR except the end.

You have two ends:

Spoiler: Spoiler

- One where MC forgives Sayoko and they live happily together. [The Good End]
- One where MC accepts the relation between Sayoko and Yuya (the senpai) because he finds it exciting. [The Netorase End]

There is no NTR end because Sayoko is in love with the MC and the senpai doesn't try to steal Sayoko. In the first, she ends everything with the senpai and everything goes right (except that she's pregnant). In the second, the MC talks to his friend (the one who shares his girlfriend and is crazy about it) and imagines Sayoko having sex with the senpai. This makes him excited so he accepts the situation and says to Sayoko that he wants her to continue with Yuya. She's surprised but accepts and there goes the Netorase end.

The new content develops these ends, but you'll have to see it by yourself.

teamMM games are the best of the best at least for me. I'm sure the game will still be good regardless. It's just a bummer when your favorite brand releases a game you don't like, then you have to come back 8 months later to see what else they whip up.

I'd also love to know of any. From asking here before it seems they're in short supply, and sadly https://vndb.org/v24120 turned out to be a major disappointment.
RPGmaker games and, apparently, webnovels are the better options it seems. It's a little strange to me there isn't more fantasy NTR considering the popularity of the 'female knight succumbs to orc dick' trope in hentai in general.
