Not a screen of sorts (allowing for a reasonable application for "of sorts"). And while you can throw a battery, since you can hardly influence electrons constructively by yourself (let alone throw them), I think it would be pretty weird if my item turned out to be "An electron in a battery". I'm not that big of a meany! XD

What produces light and uses electricity, as well as fits the other criteria!?!?!?

It's like you just want to keep guessing so you don't have to make the next riddle. ;)

This time around, I really expected the third line to give it away pretty quickly, but I guess I decided to word it tricky enough so that it wouldn't be too obvious, and in the end it became not very obvious at all. Once again a good rule to remember when writing: things painfully clear and obvious to the writer may be impossibly cryptic to the reader, because not all knowledge is shared between them.

'Cause I mean really. In every single children's cartoon whenever a character solves a problem/has an idea. I guess this thread is finally doomed to die after almost nineteen hundred posts, for this one will never truly be solved (or just nobody will ever post a new riddle hehe).

I guess rather than riddles, doing Eye Spy's is rather easy.
