50-100 per contestant hmm thats quite a bit....at least for these contests I would think. There might be a plcae for something like that but if the prices are more grandish then the works needs to be too. (grandish for these scenarios at least imo)

Lol well its a different life style~ You can afford to do that while the others cant... As genki said... there should be entries worth as much as the prizes if we are to give out money... Dont really want people to join this just for money though :x Money matters tends to have unintended side effects and the such >< It may bring out more professional levels of work and dissuade those who think themselves inadequate...

Well 100 bucks isn't that much either, not by itself I think. You owe no apologize, I think your personality is great, you only seem charitable, and not like a pincher. I feel more but I agonize over not finding the words to describe more.

Edit: oh and sam probably has a good point about what money might bring out, in regards to what kind of people, and what kind of sides of people.

I'm sure there is a place for money, just not sure this would be it. I just imagine that you might need to have..not random ppl involved in such...

Plus a drawing from you would have a much greater value anyway, even if it can't be sold for 50-100 bucks. But who would wanna do that !

I am not quite sure if I am charitable, but I don't like to waste money on too much food or material things. I would rather just see that money being used by other people who don't have the cash to get whet they need. That's why I thought the gift card idea was pretty neat~

My mother requires a certain number of sandwiches each morning. She eats them just to take way the taste of the medicine and for snacks.

But I make like 8 sandwiches and she only eats like 1 or 2 the most. The rest are thrown away, given to the birds, or I finish them to prevent waste of good food.

She doesn't eat one day old sandwiches or leftovers, so I make a new batch. Questioning her about why she needs that many makes her go Godzilla on me. ;_;

Uh... I ranted. My mother makes me go crazy sometimes. I apologize once more.

I agree with the strange poster above me...You should be able to rant too the morning and late night hours too your hearts content, just consider choosing someone who will listen, and with a right heart also, not just as a job or favor.

I honestly if it was me would just stop, if she eats 2 sometimes 3, I would give her 3. Though in your situation I'm not telling you to do anything, cause she might be so adamant that practical logic will only make her angry and exclaim 'you don't understand anything' / or 'you know why !' perhaps. Followed by a hail of possibly evil comments. As if you had turned against her and become an enemy....~?
And playing guilt cards as well would be expected, starting to put out blame and guilt.

She probably has her way with numbers in more way than just the sandwiches doesn't she....?
It's no surprise too me, there are certain patterns. And her way of thinking...might seem quite special.
