I actually played it out of curiosity: the tone is definitely darker than Inyouchuu, the protagonist has memory issues and straight out hears voices in his head, the only character with a more upbeat attitude is the assistant of the protagonist, everyone else has the usual "murder mystery aura" around them and there is definitely ghosts and possessed dolls etc.

The story is about a private detective (the protagonist with memory issues and voices in his head). We learn that he used to work in the police until something very thraumatic happened to him 6 years ago, although they keep mystery around it. He has a recurring nightmare about being a doll while someone with a familiar voice rips out his intestines. Even though his job a p.d. doesn't pay much, his assistant basically works for free because she wants to learn to be a detective herself and she seems to admire the protagonist.
One day, they are called on an isolated island, inhabited only by a rich family and their servants, to investigate a murder case. On their way there they also meet a female police detective who used to work with the protagonist 6 years ago and is now here with a younger collegue to investigate the crime.
Once arrived on the island, the protagonist feels like everything is too familiar and starts having flashbacks. In addition they realize to be stuck on this island without telephone (not even cellphones work) with a potential assassin roaming free or maybe something worse.

As for the sex scenes, many of them seem to end in gore, with innards being torn apart and so on... although the ones in the demo seem to be less extreme than i though, but based on the preview images they are saving the worst for the main game.

Looking at that game summary from FireShark, there's some pretty interesting stuff in here:

Apparently there's a dude who keeps trying to impregnate Kikuka, but she keeps having stillbirths. Finally the dude goes insane and shoves his head into Kikuka's womb and asyphxiates himself

Some rough translation/transliteration of the bad end here:

Spoiler: for you, JAHT

the bug tentacles swarm to Ouka and Kikuka, laying eggs in their bodies. After hatching, the bugs devour their flesh, then impregnate them again to repeat the cycle. Even trapped in this unending hell, the two are unable to die. Too exhausted to feel even pleasure or pain anymore, the only thing they have left is the slight warmth of clasping each other's hand. They go on living forever in this nightmare.

Summary says there's 8 scenes?

This one seems to have a much more BDSM and porn theme in general over the bugs. Seems to say things in the summary like the dude is posting videos of him torturing Kikuka to the internet and such like that. Also the CG section mentions something called like "Ouka AV filming~electrocution torture online show"

Here's to hoping we'll see a general release of this one and it won't just disappear into history as some special promo...

Well, I guess the BDSM stuff has always been there. But the AV / webshow stuff is new and only appeared around Kyo. So I guess that could be a fetish of the new writer.

I think there was some AV even back to shoku, when Mikoto has sex with the guys on the beach, although it has gotten more common, especially in goku where it seems every scene involving humans also has a camera in it, I guess it's a sign of the times we live in =P

Was the AV filming stuff in the Shoku game? iirc, in the game they took pictures of Mikoto and Takeru with their phones, and there was some dialogue from onlookers from when Takeru was strung up on the beach by tentacles about if it was an AV, but the actual filming thing was only introduced in the chaccu manga, i think?

Wow, I was just going to ask if you guys could figure out how to get to the enemy sprites in Goku (you can in Kyou's debut/special menu), but I still can't find them...

But this is 10x better. Finally a perfect PNG rip and I can randomly play with the sprites for fun. Finally... my birthday present! Kyou/Goku Mikoto is my favorite design by far. <3 been in love for 10 years now and she still amazes me!

Did this one with the game itself the other day too though

@prog: Pretty sure that BG was in the first extra twins scenario, where Ouka is in some operating room and nastiness happens.
