The 1 SS setup, I used it before once and it dead end my run after preboss. I never bother with it since.
4 BB 1 CV 1 SS just like yours. Did I miss something or we got a chance to dead end with SS in fleet?

Also, does putting an attack plane on the first slot increases Critical chance?

@Fire nothing to say with your luck... It's ok because i have a friend that always do 4-5 with 5BB + Kaga full air, south route and clear it with 7~8 runs...

That armor is pretty hard to break even with Choukai unless you luck a crit. 2 hits with one chuuha'd CA is still potentially unable to penetrate.

As my experience, need at least 2 DA sanshiki in night battle to kill boss (final), maybe more if boss is nearly full HP.
There will be 2 hits from boss that can decrease the chance of killing her, on the bad luck: boss crit 2 ships with sanshiki... Also the Ru is annoying.

I think i can save resources with this strategy: 4 1st kills go middle route and final south route with heavy fleet.

P/s: the mentioning above friend of mine now experience the nightmare of 4-5 ^^. Luck doesn't on his side that long. :P

My fails on south route - 3 consecutive fail runs at yasen with 5BB1CV and Yamato randomly getting taiha from Ru at preboss. Nothing will change my mind of using south anymore. Pretty much luck like you say. You'll be surprise if I say I ran 4-5 without Saiun cause T-green at Ta-class is instant rekt. It's a gamble.

Final Wanko only needed one yasen DA from CA if you roll critical, almost always. Usually 200+, however I did see a rare bad roll of < 100 DA. You have even better chance if you go south route, I did that once with 2 BB 3 CA(V) 1 CV setup, and it was nightmare surviving preboss.

BB at 4-5 also seem to miss a lot for me. Either that or scratch damage or weak single attack. With AS only, we get a lower chance of activating day DA. I need confirmation whether BB is actually weaker than CA in yasen.

[MENTION=33830]moemoe-kyun[/MENTION]; Believe in your waifu and she will opening torp those abyssal. Also are you using +4 - +6 guns for your girls? I probably have an easier time due to that. I'm using all improved 20.3 no.2 and no.3 mix to balance out the bad type 3 shell.

That's what I am doing atm currently, 3 CA chips really reliably because you can solokill wanko with any CA really.

Wheel for preboss node makes it pretty simple, tis rare to have them land a clean hit. Then again I bust out yamatos for 4-5 final kill.

I mean, if you don't get any decent hit during day on Wanko even a double hit of 200ish will leave her alive assuming only a single yasen ship, you still want 2 ultimately.

BB and CA are comparable on structures since torp value isn't used for yasen against those, even throwing in CA yasen bonus they are still not particularly better. Generally I feel like my fusous have done better damage wise than CAs.

Yeah, notosaber, just cleaned one account out a bit. Vorpal bunny Read is too funny for char sprite/art, Drake was good though since she held up to Extra standards. Real winner of chapter 3 is Euryale though, the level of cute is insane. Give her like another 2 events and she can catch up to Kiyo.
