Izu has had to restart his potty training twice in five days which is an improvement compared to two weeks ago. Trying to get his biting under control... atm not successful.

Thanks it's been challenging, but he and I are still getting used to each other.
Izu is gated inside the kitchen which means they can see each. Izu has escaped from the kitchen twice, and chased Chloe throughout the house lol,

Lol, my brothers dog does that to their cats occasionally too.

When I was still a kid we had a German Sheppard, and a very mean cat. Felt so bad for our dog sometimes because our cat was so mean to him. He used to bite him, jump on him, dig his claws in his face and our dog would swing his head around trying to get him off but he would hang on and we had to pry him off sometimes. He was the sweetest dog ever, he could've easily seriously hurt our cat, but he never laid a paw on him. We eventually had to keep them separated, the vet said our cat was just very territorial and just didn't want to accept another pet :(
