If I had a 7.1 system I would still be wondering where to put all the speakers xD
And I also need an external HDD. They're quite expensive for me at the moment though >.>
@Nemuru: Haven't seen a 3TB around here so no idea. I'd go with no more than 1TB since chances of failure are quite high with bigger HDDs and the potential loss of all that data would kill me...
@ Nemuru, I think the 3TB ones are powered with power source but I prefer Externals powered by USB
@ Corocoro, well yea, but is better to have an extra layer of protection ;P
I have only one external to back up the most vital data on my computer since it's only 320GB (1TB HDD back than were the best you could find)
As for RAID to provide back up...how will that work with a 3TB O.o
I meant that Raid 1 requires you to have a second HDD that acts as s mirror meaning you need two 3 TB HDD and considering how much one would cost it would be hard for most people to afford it.
Well the GB price is always a lot lower with large HDD compared to smaller one. With a bit more money you get twice as much GBs but that small amount keeps growing and growing xD Especially if you'll go with a back up drive.
In the end you have to figure how much you actually need so that you don't go bankrupt xDD
