what exactly is touhou i know its not an anime is it a game?

Touhou.... Is a game. More then 1 as well.
There is an anime, but thats fanmade.

check it on youtube. The game is awesome. (but can be ridiculously hard depending on the difficulty :3)

Until I found a torrent with all of them :o
