I mean, when they introduced Annie it almost seemed like they were trying to hard to make her look like a villain, so I gave her a 50/50 chance to become one. Then the second the female titan appeared I was like "looks like she is the villain after all". I mean, they pretty much gave the titan exactly her face. XD

Well, I could guess it was her the moment the titan looked at Armin. Although I wouldn't really say she looked like villain to me before that or hell, I don't feel like she is a villain at all even now. Btw her mad laugh in latest ep was quite cute ^_^

Qualia is pretty cool, you might want to give it a read, especially if you have any interest in physics theories. When I stared reading it I thought it was going to be a silly light fun read, but it keeps getting more dark and serious as it goes. :)

Well I felt like right from her introduction they gave her the 'hardened criminal' type character. I still give the chance that she has very good reasons behind her actions as that seems like the next logical plot step (though probably going to take some meandering to get there), but I think in the end there is little that could completely change her villain status.

When they first showed her she had her normal dead eye expression, and then through the altercations in training kind of solidified the foreshadowing for me.
Why, you don't think she is villainous? Normally someone who goes around slaughtering all the main protagonist's friends and allies is a villain...

Having that kind of power she could just transform in the middle of the central city and just crush everyone and everything in her way... I think there is quite a high chance of her killing everyone and if not there would have been hundreds of chances for her to escape. The illness after transformation she could blame on having a stone or something hit her because of that titan... + the fact that she didn't really make first moves. I mean, yeah she just went straight after Eren, but I don't think she started killing anyone before they actually attacked her...』

Almost any villain that goes "Hey you, I will kill you all! Muwahahahahahaha!" is pretty much guaranteed to be a low caliber villain (unless they are purposefully raising the stakes of their game, in which case they are merely insane).

Hmm perhaps I give them too much credit, but I'm of the opinion that rampaging in town would get her killed pretty fast. Outside she fights maybe two-three soldiers on average at a time, and she got close to losing more than once. In town she would be fighting maybe one or two hundred, plus artillery attacks. I'm sure she could make a mess, but it would be a horrible tactical move.

Oh and now my RSS alerts me that there is something new on Saga of Soul, and a new chapter of Ansatsu Kyoushitsu. So much to read

She can just turn titan in the building where head command resides and smash everyone there. Attacking while Survey Corps are out of the walls will lower number of enemies. Although yeah, artillery cannons can be used, but they are on the walls, remember, she can just evade them like flying stones if she stands in the center while she can throw stones at them that will deal more damage. Making a giant dust cloud will also hide her from vision of cannons if large enough. And in chaos that is going to suddenly raise I think a lot more will actually try to get the hell away from her instead of engaging her...』

yeah there are a lot of factors and potential strategies, and of course I have no idea what her objective is, but it seems like it would be a bad strategy overall, assuming she doesn't feel particularly pressed for time. Otherwise just let the big one go sit on the town XD
