oh wow. yeah, and you don't even want to get started on SSD prices

That is really weird. Last time I checked 1tb was about $80, 2tb is a bit over 100 and 3tb is around 150.

well, SSD's are commonly used for installing the OS. they run a lot faster than HDD, but i don't think it's worth the money to use it as storage

Yeah I wouldn't use SSD as storage. Only for things that need to boot. There really isn't a "load time" when opening files or anything with how good HHDs are these days.

I have a 124GB SSD that was about $120 a year ago. I think I could get quite a bit more for that price already by now. :)
Then I have two external 1tb drives, and two internal 2tb drives.

well i don't know why prices are so different. probably something about the economy. oh and things are gonna get a whole lot cheaper next friday, and a week from monday. so much so that i'm glad i don't work at the mall. like seriously, things are gonna be like, half the price they normally are

i have 1 external 1tb that i let a friend borrow, 1 2tb, and 1 3tb internal hard drives. i love them so much thinking about building a new computer. and i want to build it so it won't be obsolete for many many years. it's about a 2k build. i have no need for that much epicness, but i do not care lol

And there's no harm in waiting a bit longer

well another good quality of ssd is durability and silence. there are no moving parts, so it's quieter, and less susceptible to physical damage

actually, it started because there was a huge stock market crash. the biggest in U.S. history, and to commemorate it, retailers sell things at low low prices
