Ah, I didn't get a notification because that one came out a while ago already. I was going to be surprised if she finished another so soon.

Also the fact that she does such a good job rendering the panels, that it takes forever just to get a few pages done. Every release is only a handful of pages then, which is still a decent pace for a webcomic, but I wonder if it would be better if she simplified it a bit, unless if this story is deceptively shorter than it looks to be thus far.

I completely agree. I think one of the more important things to have for webcomics and webfiction is at least a semi-reliable release schedule. Having no schedule makes me think they dropped the project, half the time, only to suddenly get an update months later.
