well, my CPU isn't compatible with the motherboard i'm looking at. might end up going for a different one though. it would at least need a USB 3.0 plug, because i can't even use all of my USB slots :/

I would definitely not buy a mobo that doesn't support USB 3.0. Unless they replaced all USB with thunderbolt or something, but that would be both surprising an bad for compatibility. Mobos are hard because there are so many different feature sets, and then so many different boards for each of those sets. XD
