the power in the disk failur isn't always the power

sometimes many usb external devices that take many resurces and power from ac/dc power of the laptop may cause the problem

but in my case the i can se the HDD i can access the file copy past them to another disk and even to startup the windows in an another admin's profile

So i don't think it's power fault that i am seeing the hard disk failur messege.

Ithink with the low level Format the disk will be in perfect condition! but it will take more than 10 hour to do a full low level format.

yeah, i've had the case for a while. i upgraded my case before i decided on a new build, so i'll start moving the parts i replace to my old case.

actually for my build, i already had 2 hard drives, and the case. i just have an ssd and an os soon. there's still plenty of things i need

The odd is that i could boot with mine account

But with other i did!



And i did some small backup

So yeah i think this disk has bad sector somewhere and can't bootup the windows or to log in with my "Dark Angel" account but with Dark Knight account no problem and with that i transfere 77GB 687Apps from my itunes library...

I put him the disk 6 hour for check disk and recovery bad sectors and it open with Elf Angel (my woman's) and a new secondary account Dark Knight...

How can you explain this situatiom?

@Dark yeah sounds like just one sector went bad, that had something to do with your one account. I don't know all that much about how drives do their checksums and how things go bad though, just speculating here (I think you know more than I do :))
