@Dark that character doesn't have a name as far as I know. It was just drawn by a very well known-artist (I'll try to pull him up). It is a very popular image.

hm i am thinking some different ways of shadowing and putting except from gradient over-color filter and plas some satin filter also in the shadowing layer / method that i use...

If I have seen an artist's work it normally isn't too hard for me to find them again. Sometimes it can be tricky though. :)

He called the drawing "butterfly M82A1". I'm guessing that is probably the gun's name though.

i used it with some other parameters of gamma levels ;) and the angle of levels ;) it's on this new method on my new siggy that i am wearing right now!
