So, any news about the Miyako route translation? their site seems to be down :( and i got to finish all the routes prior to the Miyako one. I've been dying to play the Miyako route.

The site is down for everyone. And I don't know when it will be back online, because they themselves don't know what's the reason. All projects are still active. Think we have to wait a few weeks longer until they can tell us something :)

Don't think that TakaJun (founder of Yandere Translations) would stop working on his (their) projects without letting us know :) He translated a few eroges already, and there was never a sign of stopping.

How many routes are left to translate in this game? I've been wanting to play it since everyone seems to really like it. I saw the Anime , but it got really dumb in the last few episodes. He had been in love with that one chick for years getting rejected on a regular basis, but as soon as she returned his feelings it was like it didn't care anymore.

I hate when they make an Anime from a visual novel and they just kind of skip over the whole romance part for the story. They seem to do it a lot too.

Miyako route, two side routes and the true ending are left (if I remember correctly) ... they are translating the Miyako route atm (50 % progress).

And you're right, the anime was really bad, but don't expect anything from adaptions, they are NEVER as good as the visual novel :)

true that. a lot of events would always be left out whenever a visual novel would be turned into an anime. anyway, thanks for the news. i thought that they stopped working on it since the site was down. good thing they didn't. hope that they get their site back up to not confuse people like me

I know, I always expect a little too much from the Anime. But when you consider these games revolve around what girl you will choose, it just makes me wonder what's wrong with the people making the Anime. Anime, minus a few exceptions, has to be about the most ANTI romantic form of storytelling that exists in this world.

Depends on how they provide the next patch. According to my experience, there are two possibilities. The first one is an application (.exe) which you have to install, the second one are just some files which you have to replace. Only in the first case there's a chance that your save data doesn't work after patching it. The last partial patch for Majikoi were only some files which you had to replace in the game folder and the old save datas worked fine.

This is a complete save data which unlocks everything from the game (like CG's, scenes etc.). Just replace it with the original file (it should be under "C:\Users\...\Documents\みなとそふと\マジこい！\Save"). And don't worry, you can load your save data again, because the "real" save data is named "Save001.dat" ... you can see the "save game" as an unlocker :D

Atm they only released one patch which only translates Monshiro's route (Download from Mediafire).

I will be releasing multiple routes in one patch now because the other routes are smaller in comparison.

Next patch: Margit, Kokoro, Kosugi.

The patch after that: Momoyo, Kazuko, Yukie, Chris.

The patch after after that: Miyako, Agave.

The last patch: Hermit Crab, Tsubame, True Route.


Going to start with Margit Route first.
(Will not be releasing one at a time.)

They are working now on Kokoro's route, but you can read the progress on their homepage anyway ;)
