so you're using mana...
prana can be divided by two: od and mana.
od is a prana inside our body.. let's say I have 100prana inside my body, so i can cast simple spell. to cast greater spell, i need to draw power from my environment which is pretty hard for me. But you probably only have 10 prana inside your body, but in exchange you can use mana from outside easily..
