It's not all that special really.
You just go to the store with BW or BW2, start up Mystery Gfit and get your Dialga. That's it!
And you can do that 2 more times with the upcoming Palkia and Giratina distribution in a couple of weeks.

...Oddly enough, i'm actually getting the event shinies here. O.o It's a miracle! I wonder if these events will keep up in here considering we also got the Meloetta event. Probably getting my shiny Dialga soon. :3

Following the information from the Pokémon Direct, the official release has provided new details on the Pokémon. Mega Venusaur has the ability Thick Fat, Mega Charizard has the ability Drought and Mega Blastoise has the ability Mega Launcher which boosts its moves. It also confirmed that you will need to obtain a bracelet called the Mega Ring that holds a mysterious stone called a Key Stone. The Trainer’s Key Stone resonates with the Mega Stone held by his or her Pokémon. In addition to that, various screenshots were added. Our Mega Evolutions page was also updated
It was also revealed that Pokémon Bank & Poké Transporter prevent hacked Pokémon from transferring and work with multiple copies of the games. Check the image to go to the pre-release screenshot page.
Pokémon Bank, and with it Poké Transporter, for sale in Japan on December 25th for 500¥ a year with a trial until January 31st where you have to pay afterwards.
You’ll also get another Pokémon from Professor Sycamore, the professor in X and Y. Sycamore will allow you to choose one of the three original starters from Pokémon Red/BlueBulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle. Additionally, all three of them will have their very own Mega Evolutions in the game as well

Mega Launcher ability is introduced at gen VI. it Boosts the power of 'Pulse' type moves.

Ah mah gawd, I'm hoping for a Venustoise soon! The only mega evolution that looks good is Mawile... oh right... it was about these 3 evolutions? I'll go for Venusaur then since the other 2 looks strange. Blastoise looks as if they put too little effort into it (add more cannons please) and Charizard's face makes me think of "derp".

I also find it funny that the Y and X buttons got the opposite colors than the Y and X versions of the game in the picture with the pokemon in your PC or if it's something else...

yes.. mawile will become fairy and steel type... and looks very strong with his ability...

i like Sceptile as starter.. charizard is good too.. hope sceptile get mega evolution tooo.. since not fair just blaziken has it...

Blaziken is still too strong because he has "acceleration".In addition,he will get mega evolution.It's crazy!
Sceptile has a nice property"acrobatics" too.But he is graass type.It not suits an attacker.It is difficult to use it efficiently.
If sceptile get mega evolution,maybe,The Circumstance of battles will greatly change.If so,I'm excited!
In addition,simply I want to see new form of sceptile.
I like charizard too!especially,Black one is so cool!!

ahh yes, mega charizard will looks so good.. not afraid with water type pokemon too because the drought...
hope we will get all starters to have mega evolution...
