I had a Female Spritzee with max HP, Def, SpD, Spd and a male one with max Def, SpA, SpD, Spd and it took me like 35 eggs to get one with max IVs in the 5 stats I needed.

You're doing nothing wrong. It's just that even with a Destiny Knot, chances are still 5/12, meaning you can inherit 2 of the same stats from both parents. E.g. Hp from mother, HP from father, Def from mother, Def from father, and attack from either parent, resulting in having 3 IVs maxed. low.

Luck just plays a huge role. I was able to get max IVs in 5 stats for my Charmander from two parents: one with 3 IVs maxed and another with 4 IVs maxed after about 10 eggs. And there are times when it'd take forever even with 2 parents having 4 IVs maxed.

I guess or else it was just my expectations of this game :/ I expected that you only could take 1 of either parents HP IV since I thought that their 12 IVs in total became the 5/12 chance.

It's still 5/12 but I don't think the game rules out a stat if it's already been picked. Though if it did, 5/12 makes more sense. Maybe it does actually.

Breeding Growlithe was experimental. Was trying the get the general idea when breeding in Gen 6 with Destiny knot and such.

Hmm... I only use Quick Balls or Dusk Balls first depending on if it's day or night and then I use Repeat Balls if I want pokemon that I already have but with better IVs in the Safari. That's what I used to catch about 30 Spritzees to find one with max SpA and SpD IVs.

I have like a box full of Ditto's for the reason. So if you need one let me know, I'll check if I have one with the IV's you want ^^
I chain bred using 1 Growlithe. Couldn't be bothered to catch a few for certain IV's.

I am not as fortunate because I dont have safari ditto so I have to trade some back and work with very limited amount of ditto(around 5) and chain and hope for other random status to be good...now I got a full box of charmander (even release some already) and finally manage to get one with Max IV on Def, Sp.Attk, Sp.Def and Speed with Modest Nature.

I also got another charmander(f) with Max IV on HP, Sp.Attack, Sp.Def, Speed with Modest Nature up for trade if anyone want. The reason I dont want this one is it doesn't have Dragon Pulse and Ancient Power.

New Pokémon game with evil Pikachu?


A new report has shed some more light on those somewhat unnerving images teasing a Pikachu-themed 3DS game last week. According to Serebii.net, Nintendo is developing a 3D Pokemon detective game which places Pikachu as the player's partner.

Details on the new game were allegedly revealed in a Japanese TV show featuring an interview with Pokemon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara. The game is said to feature a rare Pikachu as its primary antagonist, although according to the site there are concerns over placing such a lovable icon in a villainous role. A special blue Pikachu who talks and can be "controlled via motion capture and facial recognition," is also said to feature.

The game, still in early stages of development, is intended for release in 2015.
