Yah..I know !! :D But I can't help myself, I guess I got a problem with artificial boundaries and limitations of freedom. Not to mention overzealous governments.

If only I had wings.... or some teleportation ability. ahh would be fun. Now you see me, ...and now you don't bahahah what are you gonna do arrest me, I'd make sure to visit the states for sure and play some hide and seek.

LOL Yeah with teleportation I think it is inevitable that I'd just want to screw with people after a while. I'd just want to be careful to keep it to the level where they wont just... shoot on sight or anything XD

But that would be just a typical dumb reaction from certain cops I'm sure, either because they fear for feeling lack of control or just gets pissed because they can't control you O.o

Hmmm... /me imagines opening a teleportation portal in front of an m1 abrahams when firing from somewhere in the middle east ....with the other end of the portal exits somewhere inconvenient lol

On a side note....Just feelt like putting some moving feet in the thread...

I would warp all their pants to another dimension. They would be far too embarrassed to shoot me without pants.

And a clever idea: don't warp the weapons to you, only their projectiles with the momentum in tact. Of course if you are already teleporting things, I wonder if it would be much of a stretch to rapidly/instantaneously change momentum of objects?

Also teleportation would require so much energy, that if you could do it with no effort and you just mysteriously had the energy to do it, you could easily find ways to power the globe (especially if you could just make some magnets fall past coils in an endless loop!~). :)

Lol I'm off to eat and plan for bed now...But I say, you do know how to think with portals ....you didn't happen to play Portal did you....from valve ? I used to make a lame joke once to some clan members sometime back that where all portal fans..I said "So now, you guys can really go fuck yourselfs" hahahahaha

Oh yeah, I was thinking about just swallowing up the the projectiles of their guns when they where shooting at me/you...And then just open the exit in thier direction so that their own bullets would come back at them....

I actually recently even saw something like that done in Bleach...the guy would open a portal and let any attack come into it..then he could even save it for later...and he could even use it multiple times as many times as he wished, since it was "saved" within his dimension or something along those lines...Oh and it was not even only the attacks themselves, but even the persons in some cases...at one point he opened up a portal, and the other guy saw his own past self attacking with his sword...and he ended up getting slashed by himself from the past attack moments earlier. Though that ability would constitute abit more than just being able to teleport...hard not to get carried away hehe.

But bais...Already started nipping at my food before I turn in for the night.

wait i'm confused, so there are 2 categories and one is Drawing and the other is Photoshop- so drawing is like traditional stuff and photoshop is digital? ??? and we have to write a story using the topic (finding legendary chopsticks)?
I think I'll participate in this contest, I have some time to work on it during my Spring Break at the end of the month. :D

But yes. Essentially there seems to be the Traditional Medium category and Digital Medium category. I'm really not sure why they are named otherwise. I will summon [MENTION=18465]renano[/MENTION]; to read this to make sure I'm not misleading you.

The theme is RPG, and kind of a bonus theme is chopsticks, so your work should be RPG based, and finding some way to put chopsticks in there is a big plus on your resume. The writing is mostly to explain your piece a bit/talk about it, but you will certainly get points for writing an amusing story (especially if it is about obtaining the chopsticks of legend).

If you draw on paper and outline it on the computer and such, do you label it under drawing or photoshop?

Hmmm. I think that would go more for the Digital category. Probably depends on how much traditional vs digital work you put into it though. If you also coloured it on the computer, I'd say that it would be Digital. If it is very minor touch-ups, putting it in Traditional is fine.

The MAIN rule is that you draw/Photoshop yourself, alter ego, or an original as an RPG character.

The SECOND MAIN rule is that you incorporate a tale about your Quest for the Legendary Chopsticks. Could be long, short, a poem, etc. Afterwards, you write anything else you want if you want.

AND OF COURSE, no plagiarism. You did it yourself~

It is labelled 'Drawing' and 'Photoshop' because it was actually going to be a Photoshop Contest. However, Sam and I have done drawing contests much longer. So, we decided to have both.

We intended to only have drawings and Photoshop works, but we wanted to give people some leeway. Therefore, we allowed people to use Vegas, GIMP, paint, etc.

That is why it is named 'Drawing' and 'Photoshop'. That was our original intention, but we wanted to make this a fun contest. Let everyone submit whatever medium they want. ^_~

Drawing = Traditional

Photoshop = Digital

Don't forget your Quest for the Legendary Chopsticks as well~

To answer your question...

If you are drawing with a pen/pencil first (traditional mediums= Drawing), but you outlined with your computer, it will be labelled in the 'Drawing Category'.

Why?

Because you did most of the work with your pen/pencil. The computer is just to outline.

HOWEVER, if you decide to color, add details, use a certain amount of tools from your computer, THEN it is labelled in the 'Photoshop Category'.

IF you are coloring with color pencils/markers or add details with your pencil FIRST, then you outline/touch them up on the computer, it will labeled in the 'Drawing Category'.

Please think carefully what you decide to do.

Just the same as me, never even tried the coop so far. but enjoy the single player of them both. Mostly the 2nd....and the potato :)

I just stated playing the 4th one of the series. It's in the App Store by the way.

It appears the first two had some bad reviews in terms of game interface and game-play. I don't blame the creators since it was the first in the series. They improved overtime.

The English translation is hilarious. xD

Accurate, but they added their own humor in there as well.
