I'm still voting for Mother Rosario to become a movie. It has cool fight scenes (The first time Kirito got this ass kicked in a fight, and he has even used dual sword), drama and character development (specially Asuna). It would be good 2 hours movie, if not, 2 hours and half (like Suzumiya Haruhi's movie, that was a total epic way to make an animation movie)

While it's true he rerolled his character, by the time he got Exca (which admittedly is in Vol 8, where Mother's Rosario is in vol 7, but the timeline shows that Caliber chapter happen before Rosario) he should've had maxed his one-hand sword skill by then (since Eugene's Gram require very high skill to even equip, the same should apply to Exca)
I think the reason he lost can be contributed to 2 main reasons:
1. Dual Wield skill of his fame does not exist outside of SAO, he was able to replicate the style of dual-wielding (and as usual, make others go "DAFUQDIDUJUSTDO?"), but it's not supported by the game so he has to do everything manually (and no dual-wield skills like Starburst Stream ever again ; ;)
2. He wasn't 'serious', as speculated by the others. He did do his best for the fight, but it wasn't his full power (that dare defy death like when facing Heathcliff) The fact that he realized the truth behind Yuuki might also caused enough distraction to him that she could land the decisive blow.

EDIT: Apparently, he didn't even use dual-wield, so I was wrong, Kirito's win rate with Dual-Wield is actually 100% if you don't count Heathcliff's borderline cheating fight.

OMG!!!! Ok, totally EPIC "LAST EPISODE"!!!! (I will explain why "")

Spoiler: EPIC!!

Episode 24 is definitely the MOST EPIC episode of all time! And not because of any action scene or whatsoever. It's because it will make you rage and then you will feel completely satisfy with the outcome. Sugou being a total bastard worst than his first appareance. You will rage seriously. Declaring he will rape her in front of Kirito and then will go to the real world and then rape her real body, just made a serious statement that will make you rage badly. Kirito with the help of Kayaba gets back his ball and kick real ass. More epic than any other fights. Even more brutal than the novel itself! I was expecting the chick cut and finger cut then a kill, but no, this time they made it more that what the novel said: first a small cut on the chick, then cut of his arm and cut off his half and then, throw the face in the air and stab right in the face all in Pain level 0. You can imagine what happened to Sugou in real world. After than, Kayaba and the World Seed, then the final moment, he goes to see Asuna and bam! Ending and what comes next? The title of the next episode!!!!! They are extending the last part and the long epilogue!!!! They didn't throw it up as one expected!!!!!!

So, after this, can I expect to see Gun Gale Online as the next season?????

been looking at the interwebs about SAO seasons and from what i understand is that Episode 1-4 was season 1 and 14-25 is season 2 ??? or is that wrong?

I wouldn't say season 1 and 2. Just one season of 25 (or possibly 26) episodes with 2 openings and 2 endings. But you can divide into arcs, like the novel: Episode 1 to 14 SAO arc; Episode 15 to 25 (or possible 26) ALO arc. For me, to be divided into seasons it has to have a break of at least 1 month between the season. Since it gives continuity and never stated that it's divided into seasons, for me, it's just one season. Others perhaps differ on this opinion.

i havent read the any of the Manga or the LN so i hope there will be another season as i call it~ i belive 2 of 3 mangas are still ongoing~~

There are just 2 manga out there of SAO, one just covers the frist volume of the novel, which is SAO arc, without the side stories. And the other one is a series of 4-koma comedy. I really recommend the 4-koma, it's really funny. The Novel is good. Very good in fact. You should read it, it's worth it. Baka-Tsuki has its translation up to volume 7 completely. Check it out.

Given the amount of contents left, I really hope they'll split it into 2 episodes (or air 1-hour episode special at once) since I'd like them to actually cover all of them.

And I hope they'll get GGO, Caliber, and Mother's Rosario for next season (although they give less focus on Kirito (GGO is split between Kirito and Sinon, Caliber between him and the rest, with Sinon taking the MVP moment, and Mother's Rosario barely include Kirito at all))
On the other hand, they might just make those 3 into anime movies (GGO for 2-3 hours, Caliber and Mother's Rosario should fit under 2 hour) then just skip to Alicization arc which should feels like SAO again (with less harem...although I'd call at least 4 girls showing affection for him a pimping streak for Kirito)

It's safe to assume at this point (given the title) we will see that epilogue

It's gonna be impossible to extend the parking lot battle and the reunion to 22 minutes for the episode, there's just not enough stuffs.

Not to mention the title, Seed of the World obviously refers to The Seed package that Kirito got.

And that thing isn't mentioned until the SAO clearing party, which means it's after the reunion/return to school.
And after talking about the Seed, they will have to include ALO's situation/the return of Aincrad, meaning THE FAIRY DANCE Q'w 'Q
If anything, the worry here is whether they can jam everything into the 1-2 episodes left (1 will be tough, 2 should be easy)
Although if they want to end it in ep 25, they can cut off the school AND the party, just have Kirito start talking about the aftermath as soon as they finished the reunion scene. It'd certainly make some characters with little appearance already get even less screentime, but they cut off Tonky before so meh. That should leave enough time for fairy dance and the epilogue.

i havent read the manga but they will probley put it as a special because the season episodes complete the main story

With Episode 25 the curtain has closed and with that, the show has ended... FOR NOW! I really hope for a second season!!!!!

for those who read the novel, then it's literally the entire epilogue animated. But the first part was awesome. I was keep chanting "do it! do it! DO IT!!!" when Kazuto got Sugou by his neck with the knife and remembering every evil deed he has done to Asuna. My god, how I wished to see that throat cut wide open. Anyway, very touching reunion and very romantic. Have to say, Asuna x Kirito is the most cutest and romantic couple of 2012 and not gonna take others into consideration!

Can I declare now SAO as the most awesome and the best anime show of 2012?
You know what? I'm gonna declare it, like it or not!

It's over.... It made me sad, but I saw on Gogo anime that there was an episode 26

Either that was a mishap by them or there will be a second season no doubt
