So I needed to take a break from typing up my unused plots for a second and reply to this post. My biggest issue with any of these is whats the drama? Where does the netorase or even light ntr come into play? I can see all of those events happening as pure sex scenes but I'm curious as to why she would do each? Like what would inspire Marina to do a bukkake party? How did it come to that, why would she do it? How would Kenji be involved? What would she keep from him?

To me writing and playing the Marina series these are questions I keep asking myself. I must admit the Marina series didn't have the greatest stories but it had the best actors.

The drama is, on a basic level, the fact that Marina wants to and Kenji can't resist despite knowing what had happened before. Kenji wouldn't want to take a path that nearly lead to disaster like last time but would still fetishise his wifes sexuality. The scenes suggested probably weren't ordered correctly but would in essence represent escaltion. What can he ask his wife to do this week? What will she do? How far is she willing to go? How would she react to being asked to do these things? Like in the previous game Kenji could be watching in some instances or at home in others, latter getting a report or video or photos. He could participate in the group sex or not. For Marina it would be about the thrill of the sex, the fact that she knows it will excite Kenji gives her an excuse to enjoy it.

using my previous list the things she could keep.
1. Random guy has a huge dick, or a small one.
2. She does anal with the two guys/ she kisses them/ she lets them go raw/ she swallows. Swingers club Kenji is there so nothing to hide.
3. Gang bang could be simply hiding how outrageous it was or maybe there is more guys than she lets on. Bukkake party could be she had sex with the guys.
4. Raw anal/ creampie. maybe she came really quickly or ended up peeing.
5. How many guys did she see. what did they do?

I agree it's an unlikely sequel, but I think another 'vanilla' game wouldn't add anything we havent seen before.

I'll give your pitched idea a read at some point this week.

I ended up playing down a route tonight that I didn't realize was leading down a direction I never scripted outright for.

I kept saying to myself "wait where is this going? Did I mean to write it like this? Why are these two things linked? - wait these two things in the story are linked! holy crap, no way! That means - ooh fuck!"

Like the game created its own path by itself using elements from other paths, choices I didn't mean to work together that formed an indirect story I wasn't trying to tell that was trying to be told. Like a self generating story line....

Except it eventually went no where since I hadn't written for it.

Kinda freaked me out, ghost in the machine moment.

Is all game development like this?

I never work in game development, but i was working in game publishing company, and trust me its even more complicated.

Monthly Status - Feb 20 2019

Can you believe it will be 3 years almost to the day when Marina 3 was released!? Wow...how time flies.

I honestly thought I'd have this project complete by now but its also proven how easily I get distracted with gaming and netflix, life issues ect. I truly wonder if I didn't own any games but say maybe 3 the sheer amount of writing I would have accomplished or art I would have drawn or games I could have made over the last 10 years instead of "one more turn" of Civilization. Thats not to mention all of the issues and re-writes I've done for this game in that time.

But maybe it was meant to be this way, Atelier Sakura is releasing a new game this month which features Bobby Tanaka who despite being the complete opposite of the "ntr" guy I had planned other then being black, who was designed as an elderly body builder with a wicked sense of humor - I can't ignore the fact that this has allowed me to explore Marina's milf aspect even deeper with a teenage netorase interest! Not to mention and more importantly I get to use another shared Atelier character who has all their character art finished as mine was still all stand in. Not only that the character was designed by the same artist as Marina and the new game features Marina's writer too. Almost too perfect!

I still have to wait for their new game next week to pull assets and properly learn about our new netorase interest as to properly write him into my game to do him justice though. I also have one more outfit needed to finish too but I have some time for that.

This month as I've been waiting, I've added a new game mode in. Its very much in testing phase and I might pull it from final game, but it involves finding or collecting if you will photos around town of other shared or NTR'd wives who you trade into a local sex shop for...well thats the problem, I'm not sure yet.
I'm curious if I can add achievements to the game now, not only for that but for those who find all the games secrets. I'm not sure how I'd do this but there is no lack of resources to help me! Or I suppose I could just post this question on VNM forums haha.

I don't...even know what to say to this. They guy who posted it says he wanted her to wear clothes like that. She looks like some kind of circus slut in the second picture lol...

Speaking of clothes, maybe its just me but I did find the artists clothing choices for her first two games pretty hmm...non conservative for a wife character in an NTR title. I think the first outfit from the first game spoke more to her bubbly outgoing personality but the second outfit felt more like something you'd expect a wife to dress like FOR her NTR partner. Not a housewife...although it did have 80's vibes to it too. I think her final 3rd outfit was trying to align her into the housewife "image" especially for her age.

One thing I noticed despite spending time in bars, was she didn't drink very much in these games which is kinda interesting because she SEEMS to kinda put me in mind of a women who would enjoy a beer or two.

Keep the shorts from the first 1 xD, i am not so sure about what you said about the clothes, it all depends on character and situation, or country......hell even climate xD

Thanks for the update. While I'm sure many fans would like to play your game sooner rather than later

1. It's free. Nobody should be complaining; they can play/watch/read other stuff until the day it's finally ready, there's no shortage of smut/porn online...

2. Your free time (when you have some) isn't constantly used to work on it so stalled progress here and there is understandable

3. I've spend a lot of time on f95zone the past couple months playing weg since I got bored and was running low on Japanese eroge games I hadn't played yet I was interested in.

You're not asking for donations like many of the creators of these games are and some of them who make a ridiculous amount from their patreon pages are extremely inconsistent and rarely update despite having their "stretch goals met" to work on their projects w/ better equipment, resources and more free time (taking advantage of their donors generosity... though to be fair there are some who at least have some honor to pause their patreon if they know there's no update coming for a while so none of their fans are charged during that time but that's not common practice)

Also sorry if you've mentioned this already but if you aren't using it already or it wouldn't ruin all the progress you've made so far have you considered using Ren'Py ?

I noticed a lot of the creators games using it. I'm no expert but IIRC one benefit from it is the ability to "roll back" choices to see alternate dialogue and results vs. the standard visual novel engine most of us are used to where you're required to create save points and load later or skip forward from the beginning and select the other option(s)

Long time watcher/lurker just wanted to say two things, Im looking forward to the game good luck. And I'd much rather you not use sims 4 for the story, those never come out well and its something people can already do if they wanted. I think you'd be much better off quality wise to use the original art and Novel style, just my opinion. Again good luck!

I really like the mystery element of ntr and netorase personally, and good netorase is hard to find in general so I could go either way, and while I can play text games, the text actually needs to be well written and I usually prefer art in them, you could always do both heh.

Im not familiar with the quest engine but would it allow you to add more to it later? If so you can do smaller branches that you add over time and make that your grand work while you make a smaller story in a visual novel format to build interest for both you and fans. The only reason this doesn't have more interest is there isn't much to show and theres been long gaps of silence, no offense. But soon as you get something out there, interest will pick up. F95zone has a decently big gathering of ntr fans and games now so you could put your work there to build more interest and feedback.
