I do always find it curious in these games that people die without it relating to their choices at all. It seems to make it a whole lot less of a "game" that way. You'd think there should have been some way out, even if it required being abnormally clever.

It would make sense I guess if this person was intentionally stalking you and cataloging your moves for a while, waiting for the right time to attack. They way they finished you off makes it seem like they probably weren't that clever though. XD

We need a new global rule for these games to stop people ruining it for others by killing them off instantly. No-one died for at least three phases in the first one I played, I was given clear choices the last time I died which made it completely my fault but this time I got no warning.

Also: to the person who "killed" me, thanks for ruining the entire game for me. You're an asshole.

Unfair?
Everyone is posted in public so you are on equal grounds.
It is a shame that your character was killed so early on.
Had you gone to tame a pet as your first action you probably would have survived.( your unique ability is extremely powerful since it would have had no durability)
Or had you gone in a group you would have been safer.
Someone was already attacked before hand by going out by themselves, and you took that same risk.
Even though I enjoy writing death scenes, I hate that those people can no longer play...
I'm sorry.

Being assassinate has really has no warning, and when a person is deliberately leveling up their sneak...
There isn't much warning that we can give.

More than unfair seeing as I was the only one not to be PM'd with any choices at all. If you don't want me to play in the first place, fucking tell me.

No has been Pmed with choices, this game is more linear so it is easier to manage.
And why wouldn't we want you to play?
I may tease about the he and she thing. (But that's only because you haven't ask me to stop)
But I generally like that you make different choices... Although the fear thing was a bit too far.
Haven't something new to challenge my creatively is fun for me.
