I haven't really read too thoroughly in this thread, but doesn't seem to me that "all" actions are in the open, only ours. Or else the others wouldn't really be doing much is my impression.

Maybe there's natural room for some things to be that way.

As much as you spout that civ is going to die like a lunatic screaming for Armageddon you are forgetting important details.
1. Coffin member who kill will not get boss loot. So you can easy out gear them with timing. ( you can tell the have killed when they joined your party. You know the player tag
2. Those people who kill will have a red tag for 3 days.
3. You greatly out number the coffin members, with level and unique abilities.

So saying that the host don't care is a bit uncalled for.
It all comes down to how an individual plays... You should know that

Hmm I don't think it's unfair~
Even in the other MGs it was always the mafia that was stronger than the civ~
It's a MG so u should always be in groups but if u are alone and a mafia attacks u and u die than its nothing to wonder about~
If u want to kill the mafia then it should be in groups attacking them~

Half was depilated to half

No I mean.....The "Little Nepents Ovule" was the monster....
It was the monster for the quest to get the blade~
The quest was about getting the medicine....(Wait.....I think I didn't mention it, so its my fault)
But I did mention that I would fight the Little Nepents to get higher lvl until a Little Nepents Ovule appears >,<
Well doesn't matter~ I go turn in the quest and get my blade :3

@madd I think the main problem sam, sky and I were having with the death is that it was straight up clumsy, and there would have been several ways to at least attempt an escape. Why was the assumed instinct fight instead of flight, or assuming that the sword was known by the enemy to have 0% durability left, why was it assumed that sky would not know the same, and react differently?
It is probably mostly because I'm not too familiar with these games and how they work, but I just normally expect mafia to win by planning well, and civilians to win by making smart moves. Not mafia making poor moves and winning because odds tend to favor mafia members. It was reasonable that sky would perish given the situation, but it seemed unreasonable how he was given no chance.
