I like to sleep around 10pm, but usually end up sleeping at 11. I really want 9 hours, 6 at the least.
I usually can't sleep unless the temperature is right and there's a constant soft noise like a fan~
I can't really sleep without my pillows x_x

Hmm sleep... i sleep on a pile of random pillows~
Atm im trying to sleep before 2... but that isnt working xD Too much distractions~
Hours i get can vary quite a bit~

Hmm...I usually aim for 12-12:30
around 4-5 hours
I'm alright with 5 hours...
I like to watch anime before going bed it gives me interesting dreams....
I can't sleep without my teddy bear my ex gave me.....

I've been feeling rather insomniac lately I'll be in my bed but can't sleep till like 4-5am
 
I'm actually going to research a little about sleep~ several of my friends have trouble with having a natural sleep cycle because of many things. I'll probably make another thread linked to this one about all kinds of stuff. tho... with so much i want to do, or wtv on my mind, i tend to forget about everything until several days later lol.
for now, I'll share a few things that are believed to prevent good sleep~

1. overdose of caffeine, or being dehydrated.
2. a messy room/house
3. eating, doing homework, or spending daylight hours on a bed.
4. an old mattress
5. not enough exercise.
6. staying up past 12am. (0:00)
7. happiness syndrome~ (jk :P)


There is a cheap book on amazon called sleep. It basically helps you know whether or not you have something you can fix, which is 90% of the time, or something you can't.
 
1. :goodtea: I'm immune to caffeine, and can survive with minimal amount of water (though I don't plan on doing so). I sleep well despite this so 1 affects me not.

2. A messy room... I tidy during the daylight hours so I'm fine from this too.

3. Does 'spending daylight hours on a bed' include sleeping during this time?

4. Hmm, I wasn't aware of this, but I get a new mattress roughly every few years. The type of mattresses also help a person sleep better.

5. I kind of agree with this. I sleep better after I do exercises before I sleep.

6. Sleeping past 12 has ruined my sleeping pattern, but it doesn't prevent me from having a good sleep. =]

7. True say. This may have actually prevented me from sleeping early, but not having a good sleep.

If anything, the only things preventing me from getting good sleep are my own fault for being sensitive to sound, and as such I wake up easily from the slightest of noises that I hear. By good sleep, do you actually mean sleeping on time?
 
1 Caffeine doesnt seem to bother me...

2 Not sure what a messy room has to do with sleep but mine is semi messy xD

3 Hmm it seem you got meh on all three here but what does it do? Is it any worse than sitting at a desk all day?

4 Apparently mattresses should be flipped over every so often~ I sort of understand where this is coming from~

5 I exercise before sleeping sometimes~

6 Im always up past 12 o.o

7 Hmm too busy playing games and spamming ;p

8 Lights bother me...

9 Sounds bother me...

10 Random thoughts can keep me up for hours...
