  • No, I've never seen snow in person. Brazil is a tropical country, there is no snow here, except in the south, but it's something rare.

Don't you like winter? That is something... I would trade places with you anytime if I could.

I'm wondering... Do you play mmorpg?
There are many lifestyle that I don't know in the world.I'm interested in such one. What do you usually do?
I understand you like Japan very much.I'm glad that.
Living in Okinawa during the winter is good idea.I think Hokkaido or Aomori is good choice during summer. But if you like summer so much, your choice is not bad.In my opinion,Kyoto is more attractive in autumn.
Yeah, there are classes that we should only speak English(in such classes, there is a native English speaker AT TIME),and classes teach me English. Both type classes is not efficient,at least for communicating with other people in this web-site.Yes,I have to use dictionary when making replies, and reading replies.I think the most efficient way of learning language is talking with native speaker.
When you learned Japanese a bit more and you think we can skype chat, please tell me that.
Okay,I use only mic and yearphone. And you need not to care about my money.Thank you.I'll get money on this Friday. This circumstance is rare case.
I see.You talk to him in this web-site.I wonder why he don't reply to you too. This is English web-site.

In kyoto, umbrella that looks like katana is sold lol.
that's cool that you're norwegian i always love having friends from all different places in the world, i've had online friends from romania and australia and south africa and south america, it's so cool because it just makes me want to go to all of those places to visit and stuff. i'm just a boring old american LOL XD but i have a realllllllly mixed heritage from like everywhere (8+ races) so that's probably part of why i wanna go to so many different places in the world.. and i know when i get old i'm gonna be an old cat lady with a whole lot of cats (but probably not all that many in actuality cuz it's a lot to clean up after)
well when i was younger it was a bit difficult, my parents got divorced when i was around 5 or 6 years old and my dad moved out so i stayed with my mom, there was a lot of drama back then and my mom said some pretty crazy things about my dad and kept me and my younger brother away from him for a year and that was one of the worst times in my life to say the least, my mom was pretty overprotective of me also so i didn't really get to hang out or visit friends houses much. i could go into more detail over private messages though. now things are okay, i still live with my mom (it's just me and her now that my little brother ran away last year), but i'm planning on finding work and moving out eventually. and as for the name of my dad's cat, he came up with it himself, he's a pretty cool guy i guess LOL he practices martial arts and stuff and he's a professional chef, and he's also teaching me how to use a shotgun so yeah i'd guess he's pretty "hip" LOL
Hey that's cool!! It makes me want to watch it right now. :3 (But it also gives me the feeling that this anime has some shounen-ai stuff..) I'll still watch it though since it seems so good~

(Ah, I should have said 'online' ><.. Sorry, I meant that I found it online..the normal online-viewing anime sites.)
Yeah, you're right. I agree with you.

Norway, right? Here is the summer country. Especially in my town. So I would be extremely happy if I could see some snow one day. Or at least cloudy days more often. Haha

Apparently God is a fairly common response among people on the issue of love... I confess I'm a little disappointed.

Oh, I adore this font. It looks more like my handwriting. Somehow.
    Sorry, I don't talk too much. >_<
You seem so busy.If you get time that you can visit Japan,I suggest you come Japan.Anyone who like Japan is welcome.
I lived in Tokyo for 4 years, and now live in Kyoto.I think Tokyo is good choice for where you visit,if you like anime or magazine.
Kyoto is a old Japanese culture city. There are Kinkakuji and Ginkakuji. They who live in Kyoto occasionally complain that Kyoto is too hot in summer, and too cold in winter though I don't think so.Especially, humid is disliked by them lol.

I don't mind that if you speak slowly,or want me to speak slowly. It is also communication with a person who use other languages.I just enjoy that communicate with others. It is not my work(to be exact,I should read monographs of physics in English),and I don't want to study English so hard.Just a hobby.
To be frank,I had almost not studied English. In Japan, there are subjects of English, but I think it is not efficient.I just imitate someones in this site, and use a dictionary on web, thus if I speak or listen English,I have to learn that at starting point.
In such circumstance,if you say okay,I'm goint to buy a mic for skype.

If it was an event in Japan,I guess he just didn't understand languages except Japanese. But in this case,I can't guess about him unless I meet him.Is he a student studying abroad? It is said that Japanese are shy,I think it is true.

Oh,I wish you can sleep well today.
Are you a NEET? NEET means "Not in Education,Employment or Training".I think it is okay during a littele time.Life is long.Take it easy!

About Ninja,It's just jokes lol.(I guess you know that)And There isn't Samurai too.
I'm a colledge student at master cource.
Yeah, you're right. I was intrigued because of the way you express yourself. But you're not that old. Haha I recently completed 19 years.

Love isn't something I think about constantly, because what catches my attention is the lack of love, but I would like to hear your theory. Looks like it'll be interesting.

And you make me look like an extremely wise person. Don't keep your expectations so high.

And yes, I know about philosophy's greek root words. It means "love of wisdom". Or at least that's how I translate.

What is your first language? And no, I live quite far from Rio de Janeiro.

(Now I think I'm talking too little. Hahaha)
Ayn Rand's works? No, no. In fact, this is the first I've heard about this person.

Wow, you sound like an interesting person. It would be impolite of me to ask your age?

As for your question... No, I'm still wandering the world trying to find something I truly believe. Maybe that's why I am so fond of philosophy. But I'm quite attached to relativistic idea and it greatly defines my way of thinking and to relate to the world.

I like interesting things. No matter what, as long as it is interesting, which is quite relative, so my opinion always changes.

(Sorry about some grammatical errors. English isn't my first language and I pretty much taught myself with the help of music and video games, so it's not something perfect. I'm still working on it.)
I see! Thanks! I found links for it online and bookmarked them! :fulfilled:

Exactly..:3 Actually I like everything about that picture~
Hello GenKiDan! Can I ask where your Avatar is from? I find it very interesting! :3
Of course! you can ask me anything about Japan.(Whether I know that or not is another problem lol)
If you want to learn linsttening or speaking Japanese,I'm okay that we use Skype to talk together.
Conversely,I want to learn English by native speaker if you say okay.

Did you have a good dream?
Thank you. It's a sunny day in my region.I enjoyed my holiday.
I read a lot about everything. But in particular, I like to read about rationalism, empiricism and positivism, and especially the theories about relativism and idealism. I also like the readings of Socrates, Plato and Aristotle (classic haha). I find interesting the work "Suicide" of Durkheim and I read a lot about Karl Marx too, which are actually more related to sociology than philosophy, but whatever. Well, I read a lot.

Hm, I think I've said too much. Would love to hear about your interests even without links with philosophy. ^ ^
Well... Yeah, I study philosophy. Ah, but you see, it is more like a hobby to me. It's not like I study seriously philosophy in college or anything. Why? Do you enjoy philosophy too?:3
Actually i don speak Japanese that well, i just happen to know simple Japanese, + quite a number of terms and quotes. But then it is possible to understand it, especially if u watch anime for quite a long time n slowly learn them.
I read on your comments that Skyrim bugged out on you, do you have the PS3 version? If so, that version had a lot of problems.
YES! australia :( i love my country but its gaming LAWS suck! haha yeah im pretty sure it'd smell nasty :P
OH dam :O i never had any problems with skyrim :3 i guess im pretty lucky >.<
O so much to do today...must sleep for now.~ If anybody wonders where I'm 'at' I'll be hiding in bed. But, I'll be back.
your cat sounds like it was really lovely, :bliss: i love fluffy cats, i just don't like the fur getting all over my face and in my nose. are you norwegian? just wondering. yeahh i tend to lose my internet wifi sometimes because i actually use someone else's wifi, one of my neighbors' (they leave it unlocked) but i'm okay with that because sometimes the internet can suck up all my time. (-_-) interesting article btw, i didn't read the whole thing but i skimmed it a bit, and i'll most likely read more of it a little bit later. cute video also btw, i would love to have a cat that did that. unfortunately i haven't had a cat since i live with my mom, and they didn't used to allow cats here (we had china secretly) and so we didn't get another one, but now i think they allow pets again, but we still aren't getting one right now cuz we would have to make space for it and make sure we had enough to buy all the supplies for it and stuff... it used to make me so sad that i couldn't get a cat, sometimes me and my mom would visit the animal shelter to play with the cats but i always wanted to get one so i always ended up crying cuz she wouldn't get one. :baby: plus in that time of my life i was dealing with a lot of issues like not being able to see my dad or hang out with friends from school so i just wanted a companion. :sigh: nowadays though, i play with a lot of neighborhood cats and stuff and my dad's cat and my life is different now so i'm not as depressed about it but i do still want one. it'll happen someday :full: and yeahh i was like 4 when i broke my arm, still just a little thing. i still remember what i did, i put socks on my hands to make them like paws and i climbed up on a computer chair like a cat and tried to leap off it and i crashed into the wall :donefor: and that's how i broke my arm
I am deeply sorry if I do that. Rest please!

Yes, the thread got too tense, I assume. Since we kinda break the rules xD
Here's, no boundary, just chat away your boats, lol
Ouch that's hurt. . . I only remember when my lips got bruised while I'm sleeping and I don't even aware of it.
Your action reminds me when I accidentally slipped in the bathroom :P
I don't even remember how come I'm on the floor when just a sec before I'm still standing. Slow reaction  , I know

Lost? You feel intrigue by it?
Marvel at the mystery then xD
I can't deny that. I feel like I lose my composed personality and feel quite lost like a child.
    Go ahead and take sleep.
I get insomnia for a week already. I am the same like you. Your state, that is.

You did said this "and someone who isn't always understood right perhaps" .
I am answering your question, I am not clear to people, so people misunderstood me and I assume they know me right, thus leading me misunderstood them as well. In short, I declare myself as lost, since people and me are not connected.
Not connected by feelings, understanding and topics you try to converse with, of course.
Hahaha, go on, have a wonderful rest then.
LMAO Wow Genki, welcome back. Curious, but whats your name o: ?
And why are you stealing the neighbour's internet :c ?!
I'm sure you're a very interesting individual ^^ Otherwise, you're going to have to resort to being known as a very nice and approachable person then :3! Do you want me to dig into your heart D: ? Are you a masochist who likes to be devoured :< ?
    Well, I'm trying to make it a habit to watch new seasonal anime. And on the sideline, complete anime that I have always wanted to watch (like Fate/Zero, Steins; Gate or...lots of other anime T___T;
Hahaha, same same, welp, I'm into the Japanese culture (currently learning the language) and most of my in-game usernames. I would think of something in English, or a general idea and start racking through my Japanese dictionaries and make a name :3 Sometimes, there are character limits; KuraiKagami (暗い 鏡) which means 'Dark Mirror' but I did it without the proper grammar :c
I don't remember if Skyrim has a giant, varied characterisation palette, but seriously - Final Fantasy XIV, its like staying hours in a clothing store D:< !
Lmao, thank you n___n But I'm not really a great artist T__T; I do it for leisure and as a hobby! And occasionally too.
Damn, that is a beautiful drawer <3
hah, yeah... I don't frequent here very much. Looks like you're right though. :P
Yeah I already have my associates degree, I'm working on my BA now. Actually Greek, and Roman History is my favorite, I especially love reading about the Roman Empire, and how they shaped Western Civilization.

I like some of the older Anime's also like Akira, Fist of the North Star, Vampire Hunter D, Record of Lodoss War. What is your favorite anime? Also yeah me and my rival get along just fine.
I'm doing okay, just busy with class everyday. T-ELOS is a character in the game/anime Xenosaga, she was the rival of KOS-MOS, yeah I am from Chicago, which sometimes sucks because all the sports teams here are terrible and never win anything (besides the Chicago Blackhawks).

Since I'm a college student I don't have a whole lot of money for the really expensive places, so I stick with the simple restaurants but they are still just as good. Haha, yeah sounds like you better get to sleep soon, staying up all night isn't good for you.

Yeah I loved Vampire Hunter D, and that's what really got me started on Anime, it's a classic. Ghost in The Shell was awesome as well, and was also one of the first Anime's I have ever seen, along with Ninja Scroll. Right now I am mostly focusing on European History, but will move to World History, and hopefully teach history once I'm done.
