Elsword?

Clearing a dungeon(s):
- within your level will drain less stamina (5% max).
- above your level will also drain less stamina (5% max).
- below your level will drain more stamina (7-8% max).

@Hinode The reason for the lag/latency (Hinode) is because the servers you're trying to connect to is way too far. Elsword uses a mix of P2P hosting and server hosting. The person living closest to the servers will be the host for the dungeon. As you are practically an ocean's length away from the servers, you will always experience latency unless you come across party members who lives further away than you do and dungeon with them, which will make you the host instead. This is one of the worst faults of Elsword but you'll have to live with it if you plan on playing on an English server.

Otherwise, just play on DE as I guarantee you'll experience (almost) no lag at all. The downside is that the DE community is generally awful, especially in PvP as they'll always find a way to make an excuse when they lose.
IF you do play Elsword DE, feel free to join the English speaking guild NoblesseOblige. I guarantee you'll be able to get along with many of the members there. ^^

:goodtea: *Hmm...it feels like I've been advertising Elsword DE... I should stop doing this...* ;w;

AhGwee; Oh, I didn't know about that :/ Since doing a dungeon in my own level actually took 7% once... Maybe they changed it or something...

Okay, that kinda sucks then since I barely can hit shit with my attacks and end up attacking the air or attack right through an enemy when doing skills that makes me move forward while dealing damage.

Only bad thing is that no one else is playing on that server... unless Shiri-chan though. Which language is spoken on that server then? Also, it feels like shit that I may have to restart characters. Can't I play on both servers? And can I even play on the DE server? Shiri-chan is playing DE and she can't even download NA server (or which server I play on now...)

It's all in German. As I've said, Elsword NA is the only English Elsword server there is at the moment.
You can play on both servers, but you'll have to re-download the client for the DE version as the publisher for the two games are different, as well as create a new character. The reason why I started playing DE was because the NA version is region blocked for me. I'm guessing it was the same for InoriXShu.

I could easily help you farm/grind once my exams are over.

AhGwee; So the in-game text is in German as well? I won't understand shit :deadsad: How do I even download the DE server thingy? I can only find "Game download" and that one downloaded the NA for me :/

I forgot to add that you'll also need to make a new account. Elsword is easy to play even without really being able to understand it since if you pick a quest, it indicates which dungeon you are required to do in order to complete it, on the map. How I got through the game in the first few weeks was that I just matched the name of the dungeon in the quest with the required dungeon that I needed to do. If you wish to, however, learn more about the story in Elsword, it might just be better to stick with playing the NA version. Play DE if you don't really care about the story.

AhGwee; Well, I'll think about it :/ I would like to understand what I read or else it feels strange :/ So I guess that you can't speak/read german either?

I've learned to pick up a few words/understand what people say when they ask from playing for almost over a year, though I can't exactly respond back. Usually I just say "I can't speak German, sorry." and they'll sometimes try to respond in kind by speaking English with you.

I see... it could be worth a try... I'll think about it some more :/

Well, I usually prefer to solo since that actually gives you the opportunity to kill stuff instead of only getting to kill 1-2 enemies per area in a dungeon. Some things require a group in order to actually complete it, like the Invasion for example. Then there's hard bosses that probably requires 4 people as well.

Well yeah, I have to admit that's true for my case since my damage is so low that every clear, I can only possibly kill one but still able to make Rank A to S in combos and somehow also end up with the other mostly A to SS rank too. But some dungeons, like you said, it's a given to have a group go through it due to it's difficulty.

Didn't know that but thanks for the information. I want to join the German servers if there's more people playing there than from here but I wouldn't just for the basic reason it will be like 400 Ping or more to play over there. It's like Japan to US to Europe to Germany for this case in terms of Internet Routing. Note that I'm giving you a example how my ping be like if I were to live there. Got a similar problem but a little worse than that.

HatoriTakaya; Can you speak german? I guess that I could join a german server if someone else intends to join it with me so I at least have someone to speak with :/

Honestly, no. I'm afraid that's out of my league in terms of language. Even if I could, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to play on the server due to distance of packets traveling from where I live to Germany. It's too far due to the underwater (submerged) cabling from one side of the world to the other side of the world. I know this due to my trial on playing the EU servers of League of Legend.

But given the chance if net speed and ping traveling distance was to improve in a way that evens out the speed across the world. I'm pretty sure I would be playing on other servers than NA at the moment. Though the forecast of that happening from what I have seen is pretty nil in the next five decades.

EDIT: Did a test to check if my guess was approximately right and I wasn't too far off the mark in terms of ping and potential problems for the routing of data.

EDIT 2: But if there's like enough English speaking people there to talk to, I could try and join there to slowly level there if there's a Wiki to work with. Like Phantasy Star Online 2, if there's a small community, I could possibly survive.

HatoriTakaya; I don't know how many that speaks English, but AhGwee said that there was a guild there for English talking people.

I only know about this wiki and it only explains what skills does.

Sure, I'll do that :P Thanks for helping me xD

Hino joined the DE server
AhGwee; in 2 weeks we catch up to u :evillaugh:

Level 15 now thanks to Shiri-chan :runhappy: Time to choose what I wanna become but I'll have to think about it :/

Just tried PvP today in NA Elsword. It was rough, to the point where I pretty sure it's filled with experts. Didn't know what to do until I learned that I need certain PvP spells and good sense of timing and combo skills to actually win.

Not knowing what your opponents can do is extremely scary and getting wall locked with no way out is worse.

I never PVP in Elsword. I've never been good at PVP, and yeah, sometimes the people in PVP are just too good >< It's crazy.

Well, you don't PvP in League of Legends either, right? xD I guess that you remind me about myself ^^ I hate PvP entirely. PvP also have a tendency to make my heart beat extremely quickly so I'm afraid that I might end up getting a heart attack. It might sound ridiculous, but that's how it is. It only happened once though. Duelling in World of Warcraft was dangerous. I don't wanna risk that it happens again.

yeah, that's right. I don't really do PVP in general. I guess I don't want to be judged by the people who PvP? XD That's the best way I can think to explain it. I usually just stick to the PVE in any game, really.

I just don't play PvP because people are retarded. If I fail sometime at League of Legends then I'll know that myself without having my entire team saying that I suck. It's like they think that I don't know that it goes bad so they decide to tell me it anyways. PvP never had any kind of respect in it. It's just complaints everywhere. If you do good people just shut up and when you fail you only get complaints. You might get a "good job" sometimes if you do something extraordinary... like winning in a 1v5 "teamfight". *sarcasm*

Also, I'm lvl 19 now on the DE server. I love the +20% Magic buff in combination with my Lightning Bolt :fullblush:

It still sucks that I can't speak with people over the servers. At least it lags less.

/Off-Topic/ Yeah, actually since I came from the beta version of League of Legends... I actually PvP over 1000 matches. This included ranked and unranked. I'll be frank, I'm not the best due to the fact that I don't actually play it as if my livelihood is on the line. On the other hand... I don't advise playing PvP if you just want to have fun. Personally for me, it sometimes feels like a job trying to not ignore each offender while playing on the game. Even if you're winning, sometimes it can taste unpleasant when someone rubs it in someone face.

/On-Topic/ I agree, it's crazy what goes on in PvP matches and for the sake of my interest, I just tried it out without depressing results at times. People are more aggressive in there than what you imagine and really do take it out on you, regardless of faults, just due in game course. E.g. The player goes melee someone thinking it's all good then gets themselves surrounded. Putting that aside, it's not for the faint-of-heart like Hinode said. It can cause those side effects if you are really into it.

Personally, in all my matches I only was able to lock up the non-melee characters due to whatever reason it may be at times. Any melee hard-hitting characters will slaughter me if I can't break out of their combo.

Why not xD
PVP is fun, it's more rewarding than a dungeon and u can buy a lot of upgrade stones to make u stronger ;)
