Yes, 2 is shoku.
I'd better make sure i finish translating the manga before the remake come out =P
Another thing to note about shoku: it's quite a bit longer than the first game (if i'm not mistaken), i wonder if it will take more time.
On the other hand though, they have a lot of sprites ready now and they may keep the same interace etc. so maybe it will come out later this year.... I'm ready!

Yes I wouldn't be surprised if Shoku is still the biggest game. It is also very daunting and confusing to play, I've had trouble managing to get through a lot of the paths because of how huge it is and how many bad endings there are. Maybe the remake will make it a little easier to navigate.

At first I thought the idea of combining the two games would be interesting, but this is probably the better route just remaking them both entirely on their own... probably means more content in the end hehe.

Looking at it the pictures it seems they are keeping the overall story the same while slightly changing up the scenes which is very nice.
Hopefully they also expand a bit on some routes or gives us something a little extra that wasn't in the OG game. Like with the redesigns on those last two side characters.
It is nice to see Arojiru's art improvement over the years too, so going back with his modern style will be a great way to get new people on board or those that came later to get a bit of back history.

I have the DMM version and it's updated to run perfectly on newer OS like windows 10, try to see if there is some patch you can get or if you can use your serial to download a digital version

and the second shibari girl is Momono Momoko from kowaku no toki

Maybe they are related? I was never sure if Innyouchuu and kowaku are in the same world or not, anyway her sisters are called 李(Sumomo) and 小桃(Komomo) lol so original =P while Momoko is written 桃子. If the games actually are connected I'd say they are related, although both Kowaku and the twins got basically abandoned by Aojiru T_T

If we counted the Tsukishiro Twins the game will be connected (Also Hanamaru too) as the story in the past of the twins.

Ok, guys, taking the chance to ask, and considering this is the Aojiru thread, but for those who played Fuka no Jugoku, there's something I don't get (spoiling me the details is fine), who was behind the disappearance of the nurses? (please, tell me it was the ugly ass bitch of Fujio).

Been a while since I played that game. I recall playing a small bonus disk of it too. IIRC the girl in black was https://s.vndb.org/ch/62/29062.jpg crazy and madly in love with a psycho killer and her "lose" of child drove her to a cruel insanity who is the main evil behind this game. Being the lost child is some disturbed monster/killer of women. Though i might be mixing this up with another game.

Yeah seeing the white cat brigade in that trailer is very interesting, if they throw them into a side route I will be pleased since I did enjoy some of the extended cast and it owuld be good to get a bit of a "this is what was going on with them at that time". Though nightmare can't really be in their route since in the last game that was the first time they had come across him IIRC, and Nightmare is the lead in this one. But they could add a new foe or something relevant to how they were so successful when you did meet them with Sui in 5th game.

They know Inyouchuu is gonna go well so they thought they make the game a little bigger for the fans and add that on to the cost.

Interestingly enough Kyoko appeared in a novel that it's supposed to happen between shoku and etsu (or right after etsu, I'm not sure, it's a bad end route anyway so it doesn't count) so they had plans for the white brigade even back then, it will be interesting to see more of them in the past and maybe we'll see them again in shoku? Anyway, Kyoko is supposed to be a veteran exorcist and the white brigade seems to have existed longer than the black so it is possible they are more succesful for that reason. When Rinko appears in shoku they are all like "the daughter of THAT Kyoko Kokonoe?!" like she's some sort of celebrity amongst exorcists.

Yeah and if after these remade two games he can build up the white brigade it might make the transition to them for a 6th game smoother. Since i think that is the direction they wanted to go like many said after the 5th game.
